I only just realised that GDC is on at the moment! It hasn't been hyped very much this year...

Anyway, big news: Wiiware channel will be released in the US on May 12th, Wii Fit hits the US soon after on May 19th!

Well this thread needs an update.

Nintendo announces Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Pay And Play, downloadable content for games

Nice to see downloadable content but in what games will use it is what I want to know.

WiiWare games, two interesting (non-Nintendo) titles are LostWinds a interesting platformer game in which you control a character (with left to right movement) using the Nunchuck and a wind sprirt with the Wii controller which you use to make your character jump, fight enemies and solve puzzles. An interview about the game and WiiWare can be found here.

The other game is World of Goo, based on the an early prototype named Tower of Goo. This game is about building a structure out of Goo balls to reach a pipe and get a certain number of unused Goo balls to the into the pipe. The game has a Tim Burton like style to it. Here is the trailer for the game and 35 minutes of (PC) World of Goo footage.

Well, in truth, we don't know that yet becuase, IIRC, there is no US date (although the EU version may still beat the US). Maybe NoE is putting Brawl on the back burner so they can get more titles out.

Was going to make a "change" American Kirby, but I'm not that skilled at Fireworks.
