I hope this isn't against the rule, as I'm only directing people to the patches and not the actual ROMs.

First up is Famicom Detective Club Part 2 (aka Famicom Tantei Club Part II: Ushiro ni Tatsu Shoujo) by Neo Demiforce, who recently did the awesome Radical Dreamers translation. It a shame there isn't a translation of part one but this game seemed pretty good from what I played.

The second patch released is Starfox 2 by Aeon Genesis. It seemed to work perfectly but finding the correct ROM was a real pain.

Finally, I'd like to mention that I recently started to look into translating FDC1, but I don't know if I'm going to undertake it if it's as difficult as I'm afraid it is. I heard a while ago that some people were once trying to translate this (I think I've heard Necrosaro's name tossed around once or twice) but I don't think I've ever heard anything about it publically. I've got the script dumped almost the way I want it, but I'm having a few issues with the pointers. So, if there’s anybody who’d like to share some knowledge on FDC1, please don’t hesitate to ask. Haeleth has agreed to translate it once a decent script is produced, and I don't want to keep him waiting.

nocturnal YL: A bit late, but I started Aiyoku no Eustia. I have nothing to say about the story yet because the demo lasted 6 hours and I haven't got past that. There's no save data transfer feature, fast-forwarding takes a while, and I stopped to read at some points. Nov 3, 2024 6:47:31 GMT -5

Nester the Lark: I'm just at the beginning of chapter 7. I've seen very divided opinions on the combat among Ys fans. I don't dislike it, but maybe I'm just used to Ys games having faster combat. Nov 10, 2024 8:38:57 GMT -5

nocturnal YL: Aiyoku no Eustia is quite something. I thought I've somewhat hardened myself having gone through dark stories like Fire Emblem (Jugdral, Hoshido/Nohr, Fódlan) and Surge Concerto, but I'm still stunned. (Still doesn't beat real life, though.) Nov 10, 2024 15:17:23 GMT -5
