It may come as a surprise to many of you here that I hadn't really played Nintendo games before the GCN. My Cube not only exposed me to newer franchises like Animal Crossing and Pikmin, but also older ones like Metroid and Wave Race. Yes, that's right... I had never really played a Metroid game before Metroid Prime. I had also never played a Punch-Out!! game until... well, a few days ago when I learned that NOE's Animal Crossing site had a code generator for the NES game in the series. I've been playing it pretty much non-stop since.
I don't think I can adequetly explain how much I wish I had discovered Punch-Out!! years ago. It's not just a great game for the NES... It's simply a great game. One that I really wish Nintendo hadn't forgotten years ago. Really... I think Punch-Out!! could easly compete with the other boxxing games out there now. Infact, I think it'd be really nice if Nintendo managed to get EA Sports Big to continue the series.
So... yea... I like Punch-Out!! ... ;D

I really wouldn't want to substitute the fantastic comedy lineup of Punch-Out!! with EA's army of licenses. There's nothing funny about punching a Chinaman UNLESS he's a horribly disfigured stereotype! Am I right, or am I right!? ;D

"It's Asian-American" I personally like humor best if it's offending. Viva la Liberty Meadows!

Well, I think a balance between "real" boxxers and made up ones would work nicely.

You know that Super Punch-Out!!, the SNES game, will be included in EA Sports Fight Night Round 2 for the GameCube.

Considering that I didn't particularly like the first Fight Night, I don't think I care.

Am I the only one who found the Arcade version of Punch-Out enjoyable, but very, very easy? And it's not like I'm generally good at Arcade games, since my hands seem to be on the fence between dexterity and...something like Parkinson's disease.
