A few of 9-Volts mini-games in Wario Ware Touched! show bits of a game that looks like some sort of Galaga knock-off. Does anyone know what game this may be?

Maybe it's that space game Cranky makes you play in DK64?

Maybe it's that space game Cranky makes you play in DK64? That was Jetpac... Rare's first game. I doubt that'd be in there. Besides, it's nothing like Galaga. Can't help, I'm afraid! At least not until the 11th March. Then I can help. Check out NinDB's arcade section (recently refurbished) and see if you can find it. Or provide more clues. Oh, and any help with the cameo section for that game is much appreciated

I looked through the arcade and NES games and I can't seem to find anything like it.
As for some cameos:
9-Volt & 8-Volt First off, their logo is bassed of the Mario Bros. classic logo. And between micro games 9-votl is using a turntable that looks alot like a NES controller, and has Mario and Luigi dolls on it. Also, the background has the same green checker pattern from Dr. Mario. They also play GCN after a boss.
Super Mario Bros. - "Bump the blocks to get coins! Don't forget the hidden blocks! 1985: Super Mario Bros. / NES"
The Legend of Zelda - "Grab the fairies! 1987: The Legend of Zelda / NES" (Actualy has bits from both The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II)
Duck Hunt - "Gun down anything that flies! 1985: Dunk Hunt / NES" (bits from the Clay Pidgeons part of the game)
Metroid - "Pull those things off her head! 1986: Metroid / NES"
Game & Watch Toss Up - "Grab the hands and move'em to keep the balls in the air. 1980: Game & Watch Toss Up"
Pushing Buttons - "Flip and spin the game system to find the right button, and then press it! 2001: GameBoy Advance, 2003: GameBoy Advance SP, 2004: Nintendo DS"
Mario Paint - "Finish the ugly painting! 1992: Mario Paint / Super NES"
Game On - "Plug in, tunr on and start playing. 2001: Nintendo Gamecube" (I don't reconise the disk, but it looks like it's supposed to be something)
8-Bit Hero - "Look at both pictures and tap the pixel that's diffrent! 1985: Super Mario Bros. / NES, 1987: The Legend of Zelda / NES, 1985: Ice Climber / NES"
Game & Watch Flagman - "Pay attanetion to the order that the flags are waved, and then repeat it! 1980: Game & Watch Flagman"
Gold Digger - "Push the button to dig for gold! Ooooh, that's a big one! 2003: WarioWare Inc.: Mega Microgames$ / GameBoy Advance"
Super Mario Bros. - "Poke your foes! 1985: Super Mario Bros. / NES"
Button Masher - "Tap the A Buttton to issue and 8-bit beatdown! 1985: NES" (bits from the Galaga knock-off, something that looks kinda Indiana Jones like, and Punch-Out!!)
Game & Watch Oil Panic - "Catch the leaking oil in your bucket. You can use later to fry me up something greasy! 1982: Game & Watch Oil Panic"
Clawing for More - "Pull the claw handles together to streatch the arm and grab the ball! Fear the claw! 1966: Magic Hand"
Donkey Kong 3 - "Blow the ape to the top! 1986: Donkey Kong 3 / NES"
Ballon Fight - "Tap the enemy balloon riders to make 'em crash and burn, but don't hit the dude with the red balloon! 1986: Ballon Fight / NES"
Hogan's Ally - "Grease the goons! You better spare the inecent hostages, too. 1985: Hogan's Ally / NES"
Game & Watch Lion - "Lions may be ferocious, but they can't stand up to the awesome p[ower of a...chair. 1981 - Game & Watch Lion"
Famicom - "I ordered this weired old game system from Japan. It has a microphone built into the controller. Blow into it to crush the enemies! 1983: Famicom" (referances the same games as Button Masher)
Gunslinger - "Shoot the cans to the bins. I can't be bothered the carry 'em there. 1985: Hogan's Ally / NES" (after you shoot the larger cans, they turn to either a NES Advantage, ROB, or GameBoy)
I'll get more for ya later.

I saw a screenshot of the Button Masher game with Punch-Out!! running, but it was the WarioWare version of Punch-Out!! (Jimmy T's boss). So maybe the Galaga ripoff and the Indiana Jones style games are also microgames from the first WarioWare... or maybe they're just made up altogether.

Game On - "Plug in, tunr on and start playing. 2001: Nintendo Gamecube" (I don't reconise the disk, but it looks like it's supposed to be something) I'm pretty sure that disk is Wario Ware Inc.: Mega Party Game$ Some more cameos: In Mona's intro a ship will come to attack her. When you first see it, half the ship is off the screen. The ship looks like those bird statues at the end of the levels in Super Mario Bros. 2. Also, you can get a record player in the game that plays three different songs. They are: Mario Paint Hogan's Alley Ashley's Theme That's all I can think of right now.

I'm to lazy to write out the full descriptions, but here's some more:
Cute Cut's Mona's console looks alot like a standard GBA.
Dance Clube Rub Chalk Full - Sometimes there's a drawing of Mario. Early Release - The prisoner looks like Peach, but I'm not sure as she runs off screen to fast.
Retro Action The Legend of Zelda - Sometimes Link holds up a DS. Clawing for More - When the ball opens either Lakatus, Bullet Bills, Duck Hunt Ducks, or weird purple bugs pop out.
Super Zero You Scratch Mine - Usualy you scratch Wario's back, but sometimes Mario and Toad show up as well.
Toy Room Wario Paint - Looks alot like Mario Paint Game Credits - GCN logos and Triforces are among the objects that float around in the background.
There's probably some more that I missed.

It's all good stuff. I'm working on getting some long-missed Gamecube cameo pages up right now. Might even try and get SSBM done... But this is all good, I'll keep hold of it and give Touched a cameo page soon. I wish there was some way to take screenshots off a DS...

Game Credits - GCN logos and Triforces are among the objects that float around in the background. Heh, it seems they do that in every Wario Ware game!

I read on a Japanese website that one of the 9-Volt microgames was based on Famicom Tantei Club Part II... has that been taken out then?
And the Gamecube disk in that GCN plugin microgame is Atsumare!! Made in Wario... so I presume the US version is WarioWare, inc.: Mega Party Games.

has that been taken out then? Well, the list I gave above are all of 9-Volt's mini-games, so I guess so.

More about WarioWare Touched:
In Dr Crygor's Spin a Yarn, Luigi will appear when you play the Level 3 version of the game.
I don't think the games in Button Masher appear in other places, though (Except the Punch-Out like game from the first WarioWare)

Well, like I said I'd be able to help after the 11th March... it is now the 17th and I've had a good long play of WarioWare.
I can safely confirm that none of them are real NES games.
The Galaga style one is just a made up space shooter.
The Indiana Jones one is actually supposed to be based on Kung Fu (Spartan X in Japan) which was published by Nintendo in all territories. Note how the character design and animations are very similar - even the top bar details are based on Kung Fu's.
And the Punch-Out!! game is based on the boss of Jimmy T's microgames in the original WarioWare - based on, but not identical to, the Punch-Out!! games.
Hope that helps!
