One time I was in an EB games with this huge rack of NES games and me and my mom were going through them, and she couldn't find anything and I found The Incredible Crash Dummies and North and South two games I had been looking for forever. And when I went too pay the cashier asked me why I was shelling out twenty-two bucks for two NES games.

No, if they did, I'd just growl at them.

I don't think there are much stores that sell 'old' games here in Holland... At least, not where I live.

Blueberry_pie, where in Holland do you live? I've got a pretty big list of stores which sell all kinds of games around here in Noord and Zuid Holland.
On topic: I've gotten weird looks when I bought 30 SNES games, at the same time. But I just ignore stuff like that.

I get weird looks for wearing my NES controller-style hat, buying games not marketed at the early 20's market (Kirby, Pokemon) and for buying Nintendo Official Magazine (especially when it has a big Pokemon on the front - which is like every other month). But I find most stores that sell old games understand that there's a market for them - and that I am that market. They need me... they thrive off me... they mark up their games because they know I'll pay their prices. Which is why I don't really use them any more - eBay is my mecca

Usally when I go into a shop the checkout guy is looking at the games and saying how much he used to play this one or that one. Most of the guys that work there are about my age(21) or a bit older, and we all enjoyed them at once.

yeah like fryguy i always get that grin from the people i buy from the grin of being happy there making money .
but i rarely if ever pay the tagged price i live in winnipeg its in canada . its a city of wholesalers buyers of antiques and sellers of antiques and collectables . we are like a small distribution center for north america of hard to find things. but we rarely pay the tagged price as we are very large barters. thats why things get priced high here cause everyone expects to get less.

I'm going for a complete European first-party published collection. I just wish I had more information on the NES, SNES and early GB in that regards. Nintendo published a lot of games on those systems that didn't get published by Nintendo in other regions... like Terranigma! I only don't count the Master Quest disk as separate because it was released exclusively with The Wind Waker.
