Cleaning techniques

I have a few questions as what you guys use as you cleaning techniques for NES cartridges and systems.

also i have 2 games that i got in that large lot that i cant get to work on gives a blinking screen and the other gives a blurred title screen and never advances.

i also tryed them on 3 different systms and found that one of my systems needs a new 72 pin connector. but the others are in pristine condition. oh the 2 games a re trojan a capcom game and astaylx a jaleco game. i used a rubbing alchohol and a q-tip to clean these as i have done with all th others there is no ware on the connectors and i cleaned both my system and gamegenie.

my game genie is working fine and the system is working fine also i have more then 1 gamegenie to try them with and many systems i could try them on. but these 2 games just wont work. i was wondering if anyone can help me with ideas to fix these 2 games and if there are any better cleaning tips that could be posted for everyone.

How do you guys clean your games and acssesories.

I blow into the connectors. All I've ever done!

Same as Fryguy here... if blowing into the connectors isn't enough to make them work again i usually just buy a new copy of the game... though that only happened once. And it was a Mega Drive game.
