Hello everyone. My name is Max and I'm a new guy here. My favorite old-school game is Ice Climber and pretty soon I'm going to open a website devoted to Popo & Nana. It looks like I'm going to have a fun time here! P.S. What's your top score on Ice Climber? Mine is 153,000pts.

Welcome.
I like Ice Climber too.
I've wished that they'd make a new 3D one since I first played it.
But I doubt that will happen.

Welcome, IceMaster. Ice Climber is definately one of my favourite NES games... I'm not a big fan of early Zelda, so all i ever really played on the NES was Ice Climber and the Mario series.

Hello IceMaster. Wilcommen.
I must say, I've never played Ice Climber, but it looks kinda cool. After the SSBM appearance of the 2 characters from the game, I agree with certain forum members here that a DS version might happen.
If it does, I'll check it out.

Hello IceMaster. Wilcommen. Wilkommen is spelt with a 'k', just like I just did. Anyway, Welcome. Never played Ice Climbers, but don't mind the duo in SSBM.

Yeah, I realised that after I posted the message, but didn't change it. I'll leave the mistake so your post still makes sense - how thoughtful of me... (Plus, I'm not German, so mistakes can be excused... ;D)

I'm not German either, but it learnt it for 2 and 1/2 years at school, and learned about 10 words. Wilkommen was one of them.
Danke und Auf Wiedersehen.

I had to learn French for 6 years, and Latin for 2. Can't remeber much though...
"Danke und Auf Wiedersehen." - Thank you and... (??)

Guten Tag, ich bin Fryguy64. Ich bin zwei und zwanzig jahre alt. Mein kuli is unter dem tisch. I did German for five years and remember bum all... except for that lot above. I can also say "I have two cats" but seeing as they've both died (of old age, so not so bad) it seems kinda redundant. Back to the subject: Nice to see a fresh face who appreciates classic Nintendo titles. I think I've done 8 straight levels in a row without losing, but I'm just not very good at Ice Climber. I think it's the jumping. On the other hand, I have gotten up to level 32 on Clu Clu Land or something.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes everyone! I really stink at Clu Clu Land. I can't even get to level 3! The jumping in Ice Climber gets annoying from time to time, but if you practice it it's actually quite easy. I think Ice Climber would translate really well into a 3D game. Kenji Miki, who was the director of Ice Climber, is one of Nintendo's top ranking producers and produced both Metroid Prime games and many second- and third-party games. If he can convince Nintendo to make an Ice Climber sequel for the GCN, DS or the N5, I think Nintendo would green-light it almost ASAP.

"Danke und Auf Wiedersehen." - Thank you and... (??) Auf Wiedersehen (if spelt correctly) is Goodbye. Lets see: Good day, I am Fryguy64. I am 22 (two and twenty) years old. My [something] is under the table (?). Right? What is kuli? Oh, and to put this back on relative topic, my Ice Climbers top score is 0 as I have never played it. And I have reached level 0 in CluClu Land because I haven't played it.

His"kuli" is under the table? What is that supposed to mean? (I jest... ) Who is dman212? Is Ice Climber a good game - I mean, is there replayability?

Mein kuli ist "my pen". The only French I know I learned from Eddie Izzard: "Le Sange et tu le branch"... the monkey is on the branch. Dman, not everyone here had a big welcoming party. I have locked your new topic because it belongs in the main forum. This one is allowed because he talks about Ice Climbers as well... which is a classic Nintendo game. If you open a topic in a relevant board and introduce yourself when you first arrive (not a couple of months later like you are doing) then people will welcome you. I like anyone who joins these boards and discusses Nintendo, and doesn't make extra work for me. You are currently not in my good books.
