Zelda The Wind Waker Special Edition: Yes indeed it was out and my girlfriend paid out the £50 quid as it was my birthday... it had a special sleeve with wonderful artwork depicting the main characters of the game... i was so pleased with game and the bonus disc allowing me to play the classic 1st n64 zelda ocarina of time with an added master quest option... alas i was most pleased and many months past... u see i have this terrible problem / thingy where i swap things especially games and i dont really know wot im doing... the GAMESTATION staff looked upon in awe as i passed over the zelda game in its special Special Edition sleeve... and all of sudden it was gone i had some pc game that i really didnt want... i felt i had sold my soul to the devil of stupidity... no more could i own the super ace amazing special in sleeve ( u see i bet years to come a version with a sleeve in mint condition is gonna be worth a fair bob )... i was ashamed of myself id always been a true nintendo fan ( i had every version of the game boy going over the years - n64 - gamecube - gba sp ) but that day was my darkest hour of the nintendo variety... im glad to have shared my experience, this is like counselling... i hope i shall never do such things again... alas i shall speak no more... thankyou...

Well... that is a shame isn't it?
But, you should stay here at these forums. They're great forums to tlak about anything Nintendo, like you just did.
I guess you kind of got the ball rolling, so I'll add my biggest regret to do with Nintendo related stuff.
I collect Nintendo games and consoles. Each game in my collection (the Super Mario games and Zelda games) are in damn perfect condition. They have working cartridges, crisp boxes and instructions, serial numbers all match, and the internal paperwork is all there. But, as a kid, before I collected games, I simply played them. As I received SMB 1-3 I ripped them out of their boxes, drew all over their instructions, and wore the stickers off the cartridges... This I regret... Today I have replaced these games with copies in much much MUCH better condition via a tiresome hunt through on-line auctions...
I regret having made my life harder in that sense.
I also regret selling Donkey Kong (Classic NES) and Mario vs. DK... I may very well try to buy new copies of them, as I miss that simple yet challenging platform/puzzle gaming.
That's it from me, and welcome to the forums. End.

I went away for the weekend to Norwich, where there are FOUR videogame retailers, including GAME, Gamestation, and two indepedent stores. I managed to find two first-party N64 games lacking from my PAL collection (I believe I have only three or four more to go for a full set). I tried to pick up a copy of the first Game & Watch Gallery as well, as I have the box and manual in great condition, but the game itself was stolen.
But they were all closed on Sunday. I should have gone more mad.
But with a near complete N64, Gamecube and DS collection, with a lot of GBA games, GB games, and a smattering of SNES and NES (as well as some more collectible treasures), I'm pleased with the way the collection is going.
No sleeve for my TWW special edition though... just a slightly fancier boxart than the regular version.

What's the deal with this special edition? I had mine delivered on the release date by GAME, who promised the limited edition version... and my box does say 'Limited Edition' on the front... but I haven't seen any copies in stores that DON'T say Limited Edition on them.

I sold most of the Game and Watches that was given to me, just to buy a GBA. A week later, I found out that GBA SP was coming out. All I have left now is Donkey Kong and Octopus, and they are in poor condition. NOOO!!!
