Why didnt some of the games that came out in the famicom mini series come out to America. I would love to play Wrecking Crew, Balloon Fight, and Kid Icarus on Game Boy.

Who knows. It looks like they only released the four "big" games from series 2 and 3... though I would have liked to see Kid Icarus.

Kid Icarus was a huge slap in the face, considering NOA knows how much gamers love Pit (if I'm not mistaken, the "will he ever fight again?" tag on his trophy was NOT in the Japanese version. not 100% sure, though). I was also hoping they'd release Nazo no Murasame over here, but oh well...
This brings up a good question, though: On the Rev, will Nintendo even bother allowing western gamers to download games that "aren't popular"? If they can't even port an English copy of Kid Icarus to the American/Euro GBA... The only hope that they could bring over games like the original Fire Emblem and such is that they are going to "overhaul" the games with better graphics, so as to not make the download service seem like a total sham. So who knows; they could translate em in that process, and make a quick buck in the other half of the globe. Or, they could not and just rehash Zelda 50 million times *shrug*

Actualy I'd like to see NoA translating EVERY game. That way consumers will not miss anything (But Nintendo may suffer a loss).

Well, it's always been my belief that the Fire Emblems pre-FE8 would do amazingly well on a compilation disk for the Cube. Of course, NOA isn't that bright (they don't advertise often or very well, for starters), so I doubt it would happen. They can't even bring Nintendo Puzzle Collection stateside. That's saying something *sigh*

Actually I quite wanted for Nintendo Puzzle Collection. A compilation of Yoshi's Cookie, Dr Mario 64 and a modified Pokemon Puzzle League!!!!
Talking about Famicm Mini, why didn't they put FE1 and FE2 into that? Or maybe Joy Mecha Fight... Perhaps, Mario & Yoshi! They could put "forgotten" games like these!

I don't think Mario & Yoshi was forgotten because of its age. It's possibly the easiest puzzle game I have ever played

I don't even think they made Punch-Out!!. That's a must.
And if the poll that Nintendo put on it's web site a year ago was used, we would have gotten Contra. So sad...

Konami should put out its own GBA compilation featuring Contra, Jackal, and maybe Bayou Billy.

Or at least they could restore the Famicom section in their web site.

That's right! They did have that stupid voting thing Now I feel REALLY cheated. I put down Adventures of Lolo, Kid Icarus (of course), and Star Tropics.... and only one was turned into a cart, and it wasn't even released in the States On a similar note, they did the same thing with SSB characters just for Melee, where you voted for your favorite, your least favorite, and then three that should be in there. If I'm not mistaken, this was how Ice Climbers got in (Animal Forest made it more popular in the homeland).

fliptroopa: Yes that's how Ice Climbers got in. And Star Tropics should be in the collection! I think what they do now is "We've turned 18 (of the 30 games, only 18 are originally Nintendo games) Famicom games into GBA format, and now you're supposed to keep quiet and not to complain".
I've actually thought of a Super Famicom Mini, but now I really doubt if Nintendo will ever do that.

Alot of Gameboy games are Super Famicom remakes so I doubt it will happen.

Alot of Gameboy games are Super Famicom remakes so I doubt it will happen. Disagree. Things are even worse than Famicom Mini... Famicom has got 18+4 games on GBA, but for Super Famicom... I can only count 5 of them (excluding DKC3).
