I don't know what my highest score is, but I know that my high score (in terms of number of lines) is only a meagre 143.

(I'm only back for once and only once; don't expect I will be here again before the end of my cursed exam) Let's see, my highest score with Tetris for GB is 134 lines at about 14? Too bad it cannot save. I REALLY look foward to Tetris for DS!

This reminds me how Steve Wozniak (of Apple Computers) used to send in his GB Tetris high scores to Nintendo Power. He had some pretty impressive scores, too.
I read in Steven L. Kent's book that they eventually stopped printing his scores in the NES Achievers list, so he tried sending in a score under the name Evets Kainzow (his name spelled backwards) and they printed it. But by then, he had forgotten what he did, and when he saw it in the magazine, he thought, "Hey! That guy got a higher score than me!"

I have heard of somewhere around 1,400,000. Don't know what version that was on.
My top score was 422,000.
how did you do so well to get 700,00?

I thought that the maximum allowed in the NES version was 999,999 points. I know that many people have reached this, but i struggle at getting 10,000 ;D I guess im no good at tetris Anyway as for the other versions on the GB, N64 and such, I don't know what the highest is ever, but one thing is for certain, those guys are the masters!
