I e-Mailed Nintendo a question: "Is Blast Corps owned by Nintendo or Rareware?"
Then Sharon Matheny replied:

See on this cartridge, it has the Nintendo logo, but not the Rareware logo. I also contacted NoA again, and I asked them: On the Killer Instinct carts for SNES, Game Boy, and N64, they only have the Nintendo logo, while the Jet Force Gemini cart has both.

I would be surprised if Rare didn't retain the rights to JFG. Look carefully - like Conker and Perfect Dark, it was "Distributed Exclusively by Nintendo" and published by Rare.
This probably means Rare still holds the rights to JFG as well.
Obviously, Diddy Kong Racing is an exception, as it technically falls under the Donkey Kong series, which is held by Nintendo... but it surprises me that it was published by Rare and not Nintendo in the first place.
