Hi all!
So, I've read and read that the opening intro to Mario Power Tennis is awesome - so, I went to Gamespot, and downloaded the opening cut-scene... it IS awesome!
Why did I start a new thread? Was it simply to tell you this? No... You see, I want to know if there are places where I can access TO DOWNLOAD the opening cut-scenes to other great Mario sports games, like Mario Gold Toadstool Tour, or the Mario Tennis & Mario Golf games for the N64...
They need to be in Quicktime (not Windows Media Player or DivX), and downloadable.
Can anybody help?
And, as an afterthought... Nintendo could stand to profit from making available a series of short animations and such using these character models as bonuses that come with old Super Mario Bros. games in a big limited edition disk of some sort... or even release it like they did the Zelda one - only available via really crappy means... ;D
Anyway, the issue at hand is videos.

I've not seen the movies available on the net, but I'm sure they're out there somewhere and can be tracked down. Of course the best way is to buy the games!

I believe they're developing both simultaneously. They recently expanded their staff, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Fran, it's called it got delayed.
Games ALWAYS get delayed. I don't see why you're all "OMG OMG, IT'S LIEK T3H BAD!1!! THEY T3H LIARZS!!1!"
It's not lying to not have a game done. Would you rather have an incomplete piece of garbage which ends up sucking... or a game Nintendo worked long and hard (ignore the pun) on?
I prefer games that were worked on because they usually result better.

NOA is a liar? Sure, I never pay attention to it. (Both Japan and Europe have a better website, at least)
And talking about delayed games, I REALLY want to play them ASAP, but INTV's right. They need time to develop good games.
Just take a look at Lugi's Mansion where the European version features a reflected room if you choose to play the sightly changed mode. This is changed in the European version because it's released late, and can get the comment that the replayed mode is too similar to the "normal" one soon enough to change the game.

As far as I'm aware, NoA didn't officially announce an end-of-2004 release date for it anyway. So you're talking rubbish Fran.
