During E3 in 2001 and 2002, Tomato Adventure was about to be released in Japan, while American's were curious about it. When Nintendo decided not to release it in America or Europe, many people forgot about it already. Right now, it is still overlooked, even after I created its Wikipedia article (while Johan's Nidorino translated it into Spanish), uploaded some fan art based on it at deviantART (along with some other people), sent multiple DeMille requests to Sakurai using different PCs and words (which probably worked) and created the "DeMille for SSBB" board at SmashBoards, and uploading videos of it on YouTube. People still overlook DeMille and Tomato Adventure, due to being addicted to overrated video game titles. Pretty soon, I'll probably create a fan site about Tomato Adventure or other lesser-known (but unique) Nintendo titles, after I finish college and settle as many things down in my life as possible. I guess this game was designed by Chihiro Fujioka, who also did Final Fantasy Legends III, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the Hamtaro GBA series, the Mario & Luigi series, and Koto Battle. Anyone have anything to say about Tomato Adventure?

Yes, maybe if you do a fan translation of the game then I'll be able to get a bit further than I did when I tried playing Considering that Alphadream is obviously a very competant and confident developer, I'd love to be able to play through the whole game. But yes, I wouldn't complain about some Tomato Adventure reference in SSBB, even if at the moment it seems a little unlikely that Demille will make it in.

I wish I could do a fanslation, but I'm afraid I don't know much Japanese + I don't know how to change Japanese into English by hacking. AlphaDream hasn't thought of anything lately. Perhaps they will develop a DS version of Tomato Adventure, where you can use the touch screen to play the minigames that are required when using Gimmicks. And probably people can play Gimica: The Card Game with Wi-Fi connection. DeMille's chance at entering SSBB is sort of slim. However, he was mentioned two times in Sakurai's poll. If he does enter, then it might make AlphaDream create a DS version of Tomato Adventure.

It would be nice to see those two in SSBB, but I believe DeMille should be the only playable Tomato Adventure character in SSBB. I refer to Aresa as "Aretha", because when I copied and pasted her name in Japanese text into Google and Yahoo!, I saw a lot of things related to Aretha Franklin and other people named Aretha. Sometimes a letter "s" in Japanese should be replaced with "th". In the Fire Emblem anime, Marth was referred to as "Mars", but then he was referred to as "Marth" in his Fire Emblem trading card, as well as in SSBM (However, in SSBM's debug menu, Sakurai was planning to call him Mars, but then decided to call him Marth instead).

His name was typed as Marth in English letters at the end of the very first Fire Emblem. So Mars was never correct, even marginally.

I noticed that Chihiro Fujioka didn't do anything in developing Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, but he designed the sequel. The real reason why Geno made a cameo appearance in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is that almost everyone who developed Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, also developed Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Just like Game Freak adding some Pulseman references to some Pokemon titles and Drill Dozer. A few minutes ago, I finally created the Wikipedia article about Chihiro Fujioka. I also updated the Tomato Adventure article with references. His name was typed as Marth in English letters at the end of the very first Fire Emblem. So Mars was never correct, even marginally. I can confirm this is true. Complete the game and you get a cast list. In English. Can't say fairer than that. Well that settles it.

Well, recently, I've updated your Tomato Adventure page, by extending the storyline descritpion... I changed it to Prologue, because I'm afraid that if anyone new to Tomato Adventure reads about its entire storyline with spoilers, then they will less likely play it. Just like watching a speedrun of an awful video game reviewed by the Angry Video Game Nerd. I also updated the Prologue and Gameplay descriptions with more info.
