Does anyone have any fun SSBM tricks they want to share?
My personal favorite is getting two people and one weak-set AI character. (Pikachu, Jigglypuff, someone small or annoying).
Then set the items so only the baseball bat will show up.
When the battle begins, grab a bat. One person will hold the AI character while the other player mercilessly beats the crap out of them with the baseball bat.
If Tingle shows in SSBB, I so will be happy to do it against him!
(edit: sorry, got too wrapped up there)

Yes I do. I'd better change that.

I'm sure everyone knows this one by now, but if you're in the Great Bay stage on either the platform or rock sitting directly on the water's surface, you can throw an enemy against the bottom floor of the laboratory; they'll ricochet off that and plunge down into the water with the same amount of momentum. The angle works out just right enough that usually the characters are unable to recover from that, although it doesn't work if they don't have enough damage on them, and it's harder to do with heavy characters like Ganondorf.

I always thought it'd be pretty cool to play Giant Melee with Mario, make him grab a Super Mushroom and use his taunt; hopefully resulting in a really really really big Mario. Unfortunately I've never even tried it, so I don't know if it'd work.

Have you guys seen the black hole glitch? Man, it's pretty awesome. Seems hard to pull off, though. You know, because you need 3 real life friends (I kid, I kid)

Haha, that looks like a brilliant glitch! A death hole of lasers, fire and turnips!

If Hacking goodies are allowesd here's one of my favorites. I've used the code before this guy's oviusly using fixes as well. Move Swap The code is extreamly buggy and will no doubt freeze your game.

No, hacking is not allowed. We are looking for legitimate ways to have fun with SSBM.

That is a pretty cool video for showing how the characters are developed. Especially of interest was Mr. Game & Watch, who it turns out is a flattened 3D character rather than a flat sprite. Interesting!
Also, why do YouTube video makers choose such rubbish music? Linkin' Park? Seriously? Although the remix of the Link's Awakening music is allowed ;D

The same probably goes to most of the youtube video makers which means that they've accualy never heard an music other than what has been pushed down their throats. And for a "legitimate way to have fun with SSBM" you could play on camera with the camera at a diaganol angle giveing you an isometric feel to playing the game. (you could use debug mode have all 4 players and damage meaters but thats ilegitimate fun)

Something like the Black Hole Glitch happened to me and my brother in SSB1 once. I can't remember all the details, but we were in Saffron City when one of us got a Meowth from a Pokéball, and then a crate fell onto it while it was doing Payday...eventually my brother got stuck in it and it dealt 999% damage to him almost immediately, but he didn't get KOed for quite a long time. The Meowth also stayed far longer than it should have, nor did the crate get destroyed.
