XBLA is moreso game patches and arcade games remade or ported. Pac-Man and Jetpac are remade.... TMNT is ported.... better than the VC's bad NES TMNT. Over in Americola it was priced 100 points extra, too.

Nintendo is not archrivals with MS. Not to say that they aren't rivals. Now Sony and Microsoft...they are super competitors! It's like Sega vs. Nintendo, except with far more money flying and differing formats. And no mascot fights. Maybe in 10 years they'll have "Master Chief & Toro the Sony Cat at the Olympic Games". ;D OK...that was bad one. Sony doesn't have a mascot, does it? It needs to get one.

What about the Sony Failure. A brilliant mascot in the shape of Kutaragi.

Sony does have two mascots, actually. Toro, like Mr. Molecule mentioned, and Kuro. They're both cats. Fairly generic anime cats at that, but they're pretty cute. I don't think Sony has ever used them outside of Japan.

Sony's never had a long-standing mascot. In the old days of the PlayStation, Sony tended to use Lara Croft and Crash Bandicoot a lot, but now they're multi-platform characters. I think the closest thing Sony has to traditional mascots now are Ratchet and Clank.
Then there were all the fly-by-night mascots that didn't catch on, like Spyro, Tomba, and wasn't there some dorky superhero guy?
