As if to one-up the US Virtual Console once again, midnight yesterday saw the first Neo Geo release in Europe. Fatal Fury is now available, alongside four Mega Drive titles. So that's just one more console to add to the bunch! *showing off* ;D

Heh, congrats. I predict Fatal Fury to arrive this next week on U.S. VC's.

The legend of the Lone wolves. Fatal Fury. Garou no Densetsu.
The epic battle between the Bogard brothers and their adoptive father's murderer.... and current crime lord of their hometown.... Geese Howard.
Fatal Fury kicks ass. Ok fine, it's not the best 2d fighter out there... and I really don't consider it a rival to SF2, since it's pretty much unplayable as a VS fighter... but it's very memorable. The characters are all legends in the SNK mythos.... except of course for Michael Max.
All this thinking about Smash Brothers Brawl made me forget how much I love SNK.

NeoGeo? I've heard of that, not to mention seeing it in a fan comic. This'll be great when US releases come!

They're here, Roy. ;D You can buy Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting and/or World Heroes this week for 900 Wii Points.
I will say you should probably wait for some other releases, though. Fatal Fury only has three playable characters and is a bit shallow compared to later FF's, and Art of Fighting, while a landmark in terms of sprite animation, only has 2 selectable fighters and isn't as solid as other fighter options available. I haven't played World Heroes in years, so I won't comment about that.
