Yes that was obvious mistake. Probably made becouse Part II was a prequel to Part I and was also the game when protagonist and Ayumi first met.

The articles for Kururin Squash!, Famicom Tantei Club (series), BS Tantei Club: Yuki ni Kieru Kako and Famicom Bunko: Hajimari no Mori have finally been translated, while Sheriff (arcade game) is now under translation. Yes that was obvious mistake. Probably made becouse Part II was a prequel to Part I and was also the game when protagonist and Ayumi first met. However, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island takes place when Mario and Luigi were infants, but Nintendo decided to say that Mario first appeared in the Donkey Kong arcade while Luigi first appeared in the original Mario Bros. arcade (not Super Mario Bros. arcade). Those two arcade games came before the sequel to the first SNES title.

Well no. It was a genuine error. There were plenty of them, and many (but not all) of them were fixed in the European and later SSBM copies.
After all, those boxes showed their debut appearance in US and Europe. The Japanese list shows a selection of games that character appeared in.

The Sheriff (arcade game) article is now translated, while I requested translations for Custom Robo: Battle Revolution (known simply as Custom Robo for the Nintendo GameCube) and Nakayama Miho no Tokimeki High School.

"Nakayama Miho no Tokimeki High School".
Finally, something about that! I remember reading about it on tsr's NES archive. It sure sounded interesting...
EDIT: I'm updating the page now. EDIT 2: Uh-oh, it appears to be down...never mind for now.

*bump*
The Joy Mech Fight article is now 100% translated. However, Thinkbeforeyouclick didn't completely translate the Characters section because the information there is very sparse (a list of characters and special moves with very little actual descriptions) and is not essential to the article. He also didn't translate the last section of the ja article about the game's copyright issues because the information there was poorly sourced. Do any of you think he should reconsider translating these parts?
I've also requested a translation for Kousoku Card Battle: Card Hero.

He also didn't translate the last section of the ja article about the game's copyright issues because the information there was poorly sourced. Do any of you think he should reconsider translating these parts? I know Wikipedia has some psycho editors on there who spend all day destroying Nintendo entries, so if the source isn't that great, then I would personally leave it out. Still... might be worth translating it (and the source) for our own purposes.

Still... might be worth translating it (and the source) for our own purposes. I recently told him that I guess it would be easier to translate the rest of the article to make it easier for me to decide whether they are important or not. Read his next reply and see what he should do next. I fixed the expired / dead link he told me he couldn't access, which is in the Japanese article.

Koto Battle: Tengai no Moribito is now complete, while the article for Magical Starsign (series) is now under translation. Also, I cancelled some translation requests, because the English articles of them are already substantial. These are: - Tomato Adventure
- MOTHER/EarthBound series articles (excluding MOTHER 1+2)
- Kurikin Nano Island Story
