Question about Undake 30 Same Game: What exactly is this?

They say this thing is made by Hudson and is held for certain contests, available in both BS and ROM cartridge form. I'm not uite sure as I saw someone popped out saying he suspects if this thing could have been something unofficial with the author smacking theHudson name on it to make it look official.

Hudson did make the Undake 30 series, and I would be surprised if this wasn't an official release from them. I've seen it appear on Japanese websites alongside the likes of Yoshi's Cookie on SNES, which also wasn't published by Nintendo in Japan.

Here's some information on it (in Japanese) on my favourite Japanese Mario resource, All Super Mario or A-SUMA:

Here's what I can gather from it:

• It's a Super Famicom version of Hudson's Undake 30 game.
  
• It was announced in 1994 by Hudson, but wasn't released until 1996.
  
• High score challenges took place in participating stores and also over Satellaview.
  
• The serial is: SHVC-ANZJ-JPN.

I know of this Undake 30 game via Bomberman. Bomberman Land 2 has a Bomberman-themed version of it included.
