Here's a hodgepodge of three things I've done for now. In the future, I'll add more to this thing like my own little porfolio I usually doodle characters in the margins of my notes, and I have a decent "style" going at times, so I hope you guys enjoy Here's some tiny doodle I made in current events class a year ago; my friend scanned it and colored it for me before I could do the same on my own. It's Mario meets Evil Dead ;D www.smbhq.com/users/sss/pics/marioevildeadposter.gifAnother quick drawing of Typhlosion, colored with marker. I just like the "Bring it" motion with the claw www.smbhq.com/users/sss/pics/sweettyphlosion.jpgI have well over 100 custom Pokemon (sad, huh?) that a friend and I used to catalogue and make a sort of comic out of. Here's my most recent rendition of what my starters would look like: a tree wallaby, a fire serpent, and a marine dinosaur. Nifty www.smbhq.com/users/sss/pics/customstarters-sunandmoonversions-smaller.jpgCriticism and compliments welcome!

The Typhlosion is the best of the three IMO. But, you should probably stick to Nintendo's characters because, the characters you make people won't get the full effect of.

Funny you mention that, because I just scanned a few things I want to ink sometime soon. www.smbhq.com/users/sss/pics/randomnintendo.jpgThere's a Boo Buddy, my (tiny) drawing of Hakkun, random Nintendo banner thingy, Dangerous Duck (YAY!), and Captain Syrup (I was inspired by the official art flintofmother3 posted). The original stuff was just to make it look like I had something, and wasn't all talk

Good drawing on average, but I'm a little disappointed at how you draw Pika and Makkun.
I love your Kirby drawing though

Great stuff. Add a bit of ink and colour to those puppies and you're away!

Didn't get to coloring the other guys yet, since I've been busy. BUT I did manage to do a job on Boo in Photoshop. If somebody's willing (hell, i might do it), we could do a Villain entry for Boo Buddy too www.smbhq.com/users/sss/pics/boobuddyhaze.gifI had to run out and buy a pen to ink it with, and I think I did something funny when I adjusted levels, accidentally leaving the lines kinda "blotched" with white. But, it actually leaves a cool effect, and I like it. Next is either Kamek or Hakkun.

Nice pics! But I am not sure if we should start doing entries for such minor badies for the Nintendo Stars section. If I were Fryguy (how will eventually take the decision), I will leave right now only with heroes (Main heroes) and villains (anyone how fit the last boss category)

It was my intention to keep the Villains section for major enemies / last bosses.
BUT, that doesn't mean I'm not planning something else... say... an enemy index for each game? Hmm... doodleriffic.

I wasn't imposing, mind you But Boo has appeared in a lot of the spinoff titles, supposedly as its own character *shrug* An enemy index would be a cool idea, though. I've always wanted to see what would happen if a Boo and a Poe met face to face

Yeah... I'm not doing that with enemies that occasionally appear as side-characters, etc. After all, how would you tell the story of an individual Boo Buddy? It's not like you know which Boo in SMW was the one in Mario Power Tennis or anything. No such problems with Bowser or Wario... or even King Boo from Luigi's Mansion.
The enemy index has been brewing for a while. It's more likely to start as individual game indexes of enemies (and perhaps items, etc.)
I will let you know what's going on with it as and when I get around to putting together a basic layout or something.

My goodness, an update Yeah, I figured you guys were good enough to visit these forums more often Here's a quick doodle of Pit I scanned in with some other stuff. I cropped him out since the rest of the drawings were insignificant (skeletons and frogs and whatnot ), but you can still catch the top of some mummy cat thing. www.smbhq.com/users/sss/pics/ZoomedPit.jpgI really badly wanna see him in SSB3, and if Nintendo and HAL shaft him a third time, then let's just say some kneecaps will be smashed...

Hey coolness... but now I want to see what the mummy cat looks like! Seriously... you should see some of my doodles at work. Waiting for a massive PDF to print or something often leads to a range of doodles, many of them become rough sketches for things that may one day turn up on the site (enemy and character sketches, mostly). At the moment I just have a bunch of doodles of Q*Bert characters for some reason ;D

Thanks! Glad you appreciate it I have some more in the works that maybe, just maybe, you gave me the boot in the rear to finish. There's a few guys at Smashboards upset with me already for not finishing em ^.^:;
