Here's a hodgepodge of three things I've done for now. In the future, I'll add more to this thing like my own little porfolio I usually doodle characters in the margins of my notes, and I have a decent "style" going at times, so I hope you guys enjoy
Didn't get to coloring the other guys yet, since I've been busy. BUT I did manage to do a job on Boo in Photoshop. If somebody's willing (hell, i might do it), we could do a Villain entry for Boo Buddy too
I had to run out and buy a pen to ink it with, and I think I did something funny when I adjusted levels, accidentally leaving the lines kinda "blotched" with white. But, it actually leaves a cool effect, and I like it. Next is either Kamek or Hakkun.

Nice pics! But I am not sure if we should start doing entries for such minor badies for the Nintendo Stars section. If I were Fryguy (how will eventually take the decision), I will leave right now only with heroes (Main heroes) and villains (anyone how fit the last boss category)
“Revenge is always good, unless someone is taking ravenge on you“
Yeah... I'm not doing that with enemies that occasionally appear as side-characters, etc. After all, how would you tell the story of an individual Boo Buddy? It's not like you know which Boo in SMW was the one in Mario Power Tennis or anything. No such problems with Bowser or Wario... or even King Boo from Luigi's Mansion.
The enemy index has been brewing for a while. It's more likely to start as individual game indexes of enemies (and perhaps items, etc.)
I will let you know what's going on with it as and when I get around to putting together a basic layout or something.
My goodness, an update Yeah, I figured you guys were good enough to visit these forums more often
Here's a quick doodle of Pit I scanned in with some other stuff. I cropped him out since the rest of the drawings were insignificant (skeletons and frogs and whatnot ), but you can still catch the top of some mummy cat thing.
Hey coolness... but now I want to see what the mummy cat looks like!
Seriously... you should see some of my doodles at work. Waiting for a massive PDF to print or something often leads to a range of doodles, many of them become rough sketches for things that may one day turn up on the site (enemy and character sketches, mostly). At the moment I just have a bunch of doodles of Q*Bert characters for some reason ;D
Hey guys, bringing this topic back from the depths because I do have some art I would like to share with you. Now, you may have already seen most of this stuff if you've seen my DeviantArt account before, but if not: here it is!
Nester the Lark: I've had similar thoughts the past several months. What do I really use social media for? I don't interact a whole lot, so for me, it's more about getting content. "Less about the social, more about the media" as I like to put it.

nocturnal YL: On second thought, maybe I should give Bluesky a try. I was actually considering Mastodon as a replacement of X and didn't really think much of Bluesky since posts are viewable by members only, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

Evie ❤✿: I relate with that and Twitter. I started using it and got addicted to scrolling, retweeting things. Nowadays I come back in short waves, or learning about media like you. Unfortunately it's hard to keep track and Musk doesn't like datascraping.

Evie ❤✿: The other reason I use it is to follow art channels I like, specifically to browse cute art.

nocturnal YL: I have got a Bluesky account. I'll consider actually posting later. And I haven't even used X for at least a month. There are a few X users I'm interested in re-following (in a general sense) if they have accounts elsewhere.

nocturnal YL: The problem with being completely sucked into Surge Concerto's world is that I can't actually look them up outside of the game, since everything, including some official media, is spoiler. It's the same issue as BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light.

Evie ❤✿: Cool ^^ Sorry to hear that Hope you have fun with the games until you don't have to avoid the spoilers.

Evie ❤✿: I've been fed up with online editors and software which claims to be free but isn't. -_- I've usually joined an image with audio w/Avidemux which actually is open source. Now I just use FFMPEG to do same for less clicking. I'm satisfied this way though. ^^

Evie ❤✿: I think microblogging sounds nice too. I might try it myself one day. ^^ Twitter/X's character limit is restricting, as is the organisation/discovery of tweets. Don't worry about audience, it isn't important tho if u want one I'm sure will get1 eventually.

Evie ❤✿: Funnily enough there is a recent Hatsune Miku/Pokémon collab called Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage 18 Types 18 Songs where it imagines if Hatsune Miku was a Pokémon Trainer and what Pokémon she'd use.

Nester the Lark: Sony has announced a State of Play for tomorrow after the Direct. Didn't they do this last September, also? EDIT: Yes, they did.
Sept 13, 2023 16:04:08 GMT -5
Nester the Lark: Not a bad Direct. I'll post my impressions later.

Nester the Lark: So, I still don't know if NST had anything to do with Mario vs. Donkey Kong on Switch, but plot twist! They *did* develop F-Zero 99.

nocturnal YL: About a quarter done in Ciel nosurge DX (1/3 story, about 1/5 items). Absolutely love the story, but the gameplay is pretty bad. Wouldn't have liked it at all in its original online, real-time-only form.

Nester the Lark: Apparently, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 won the Award of Excellence at TGS.

nocturnal YL: This is unexpected. His name is almost synonymous with the studio.

nocturnal YL: Surge Concerto (and the overall Ar Tonelico series, from what I know) has deep lore and unfathomable dark stories on top of rather shallow gameplay. It's in some ways a far more extreme version of the BLUE REFLECTION series.

nocturnal YL: Game design similarities aside, I'm surprised that the same developer behind Atelier can make something like this. Not exactly my cup of tea, but that's an extra layer of appreciation I have for them.
