Just remembered about this old thing! I thought I'd better check back to see hows Kirb doing, or whether any nebies would like to give it a shot. All you new guys, read this thread from the beginning and get back to me.
Umm...I think I can just remember the first plotline...I stupidly never wrote anything down
I'm Oldmanrupee over on Deviantart.com, Oldmanrupee on the MS Paint Adventures website (check out my forum adventure there!) and @oldmanrupee AND @oldmanmystery over on Twitter.
@oldmanmystery likes to research mysterious and odd historical events, anything from the Roswell incident to King Tut's curse. He has a growing timeline of these events at www.tinyurl.com/hystory
Funnily enough, I remembered this too just yesterday. Gaah, it's been ages since I said I'd do it, and it's STILL not done. I guess I've set myself up a reputation for being slow and unreliable now, but it WILL be done. Within the week.
I've been at 0% productivity for the last... 6 months or so? Heartbreak isn't a great motivator. But yeah, I'm crawling back into drawing things again now, since people I know from DeviantArt have been complaining about my lack of updates.
Wait... that was a pointless post... better contribute to the topic then!
Wait, do you have it on DeviantArt? Oh wait, you must be talking about different art. Heartbreak... wow, I've never experienced that yet, and I don't look forward to it. How bad is it? Does it really feel like your hearts been torn out/broken, like the rumor goes?
Entirely depends! I get a kind of tunnel vision, dark round the edges.
Of course it depends why your heart's been broken. Death of someone close, broken up with partner... reactions to each will be different. I find breaking up leads to a heart-yanking yearning - while a close death is more likely to feel like a hole has opened up.
I've been through these, but I also got a similar feeling when my games were robbed. Tunnel vision, followed by big gaping hole. Only THAT was followed by plots of revenge!
Shrikeswind: So, having said in my post in Dream Fighters what I've been spending my quarantine on, what about you guys? How are you hanging onto sanity?

Shrikeswind: Also I don't know that I've ever spent as long building a Smash fighter as I did with WG, and I'm going to hit this one hard here, it was all the costume work.

Shrikeswind: I'm reminded why I don't bother with that. I had the luxury of easy-to-grab screenshots and it still took literal hours to finish that post.

Nester the Lark: Let's not talk about me and sanity.
Aug 25, 2020 10:19:20 GMT -5
Shrikeswind: Very well, we shall talk of other things, like shoes and ships and sealing wax, and cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings.
Aug 25, 2020 11:51:55 GMT -5
Shrikeswind: It strikes me that perhaps I should not be mentioned in the same breath as sanity myself.

Boo Destroyer: RuneScape.... I haven't heard that name in a long, long time.

Shrikeswind: I still play. Matter of fact, I'm currently playing. It actually just came out with a new skill this past March, if you can believe it.

nocturnal YL: In a way, I'm glad I'm unrelated to those fan communities of the games I play. I just sit back and play games casually, not really caring whatever scandals or elitism or holier-than-thou attitudes going on.

Shrikeswind: I think I need to track down some horribly cursed Pokemon content now after that. You know, since that was such a heavy topic to drop in the middle of a quiet forum.

Nester the Lark: Also, I know YL isn't into speedruns, but he might be interested to know that RPG Limit Break is having a Gust marathon all weekend, including several Atelier games.
