20-11 are Dumb I dont think SMB3 isn't as good as Racket and Clank 2. If 10-1 is any thing like the rest*cocks Shotgun* there will bge hell to pay

I don't think IGN has the oldest readership over there. Otherwise, SMB3 would be much higher. I am quite surprised to see SM64 and SMB3 so low. But eh. Whatever. Maybe we should do our own list. ^^

Yeah, like top 10 Nintendo titles or something, I'd be glad to assemble it if ya'll'd like. I am so happy that Halo and Halo 2 didn't even make the top ten. But then again, the top ten will probably consist of ten games released within the last month.  |

I saw icymatt's post and thought it was mine for a minute because of his ROB picture. I thought I was crazy, cuase I really could not remember writing that. Turns out I didn't.

At least a GameCube game got #1 and OoT got #2 :/

Still, with the exception of PDS and SoTN, most of my rant still stands (especially since there's more than one truly amazing Castlevania and Panzer Dragoon) I didn't see PDS on it.. which sucks. How the Hell I like Resident evil 4 but not # 1 and God of War was number 6. Higher the SM64, no SMB. and I have my friend telling me "Its someones opinion" when there are 20 random sports games. My god. No splinter cell no GTA nonononononononononNO.

My opinion of the list just changed... it has plummeted...
Why no SMB???
As if this wasn't the defining moment for console video games, and one of the most fun and addictive classic games ever!
And is RE4 that good?
I wwas sure OoT would be #1, but it's second to a brand new game.
I'm just going to leave this one alone now.

Notice how Metroid Prime 2 beats Metroid Prime - which would suggest the wonderful thing called "originality' has no meaning in this.

Even mainstream gamers should recognise that it belongs somewhere in the top 99 games. Ridiculous. Every other game did well, because it beat the best game ever.
I'm gonna have a look at the official IGN list. See if YI is on that.

SMB made it to #1 on the last list which was made five years ago. Nowadays I guess gaming is just a graphic hungry population.  If you notice... they had no NES, GB, Master System, 32X, Sega CD, Jaguar, or any other retro consoles before the SNES. And the few SNES games that made it have good graphics. Rawr. |

Nor do they do any "classic" PC games. Lemmings (by Psygnosis, now owned by Sony) should of made like, at least 80.
