This is my attempt at Marth from SSBM (but in a very different style)...
Let me point out a few things about this picture:
~ Drawn and coloured in using "Project Rub DS" style theme. ~ Yes, I realise there is no cape, but im hopeless at drawing things like that ~ This is my first attempt at this kind of style, I like it and will use it again.
Any comments or criticism much appreciated everyone. If you like it, im starting on a MASSIVE project, drawing all SSBM characters in this style. So if you wanna see em all I'll post them if you like...?
Anyways im goin on a bit here so il just shut up and post the link heh heh

Wow, nice! Although, he does look a bit like a girl with the hair+face (reminds me of the girl in Project Rub a little too much)
I'm Oldmanrupee over on Deviantart.com, Oldmanrupee on the MS Paint Adventures website (check out my forum adventure there!) and @oldmanrupee AND @oldmanmystery over on Twitter.
@oldmanmystery likes to research mysterious and odd historical events, anything from the Roswell incident to King Tut's curse. He has a growing timeline of these events at www.tinyurl.com/hystory
My project is underway for all of the SSBM characters in this style and when the time comes I will post a thread with all of the seperate links on it for each fighter.
Well, I started off drawing Marth cuz he is my favourite character but then I got fed up with the regular style that I throw together. Somehow Project Rub got into my head and I decided to experiment.
Im doing Mario and Link at the moment, though Im dreading doing characters such as Bowser and Ganondorf because of the level of detail but ah well.

You could easily get away with replacing a lot of detail with solid colors since that's what the style lends itself to anyway. I think it would be excusable. In fact, I was just thinking that even your great drawing of Marth has, perhaps, just a little too much detail for the Rub Rabbit style, but I'm not complaining.
nocturnal YL: It's my birthday in my timezone. I'm 35 now. This may be a bit morbid for a joke, but I've hit that midway checkpoint flag in my course of life. (Not implying anything about my lifespan; just that 35 is the start of mid-life by some broader definitions.)

nocturnal YL: About 30–40% into Atelier Escha & Logy DX. I didn't quite expect to see being overwhelmed by paperwork, coworkers with strong personalities and office politics as part of the story. All these against a backdrop of a dying world and attempts to mitigate it.

Nester the Lark: I decided to check in on Super Mario Maker before the servers go offline, and YL may be happy to know that his world record time on the final course I uploaded three years ago still stands.

nocturnal YL: A little more than a full day before the 3DS and Wii U online functionality shuts down. I may consider checking my Super Mario Maker and Fire Emblem Fates profiles, but I don't think I'll miss anything if I don't make it.

nocturnal YL: With Super Mario Maker, I tried to save good creations when I find those, but my save slots are only half full. I can't find any good online collection of good traditional-style courses; online communities are focused on high-difficulty ones.

nocturnal YL: Haven't touched my 3DS for a while. I'm surprised how lightweight it is.

nocturnal YL: So I started Super Mario Maker and started looking for courses I like. Turned out there are quite a lot, and now my Coursebot storage is full.

nocturnal YL: In terms of activity, there has been next to none across the Wii U and 3DS games I checked. Guess I really didn't miss out anything. Also I've refreshed the record in Nester's final Tetris-themed course. It now stands at 36 seconds.

nocturnal YL: Played a bit of Project Mirai DX since I was checking my 3DS anyway. My skills got rusty. I still get perfects easily, but now there are a lot of near-misses. Also got way worse at Reversi. Still very fun, as befitting my 2nd favourite game ever.

Nester the Lark: Toshihiro Kondo is going to be with NISA at Anime Expo in July. I wonder if they'll be making any announcements.

nocturnal YL: I don't know if it's me being spoiled by the much better presentation of the newer games, the "dying world with lots of bureaucracy" setting, general series fatigue, Ayesha's ghost still haunting me, or the Rorona-style format dragging down the pacing…

nocturnal YL: …but while I generally like Escha & Logy, it doesn't excite me. Character events don't happen often, and when they do they tend to fall short of my expectation. Logy has a troubled past for example, and it got revealed and resolved in a single cutscene.

nocturnal YL: I'll see if things will improve in the second half of the game. And all these made me look forward to Atelier Shallie. I know nothing about that game, but it gets rid of the time limit, which should give the player more control on story progression.

Nester the Lark: ^ I don't think I've seen that stage since I uploaded it. Trivia: The title "Tet-tot-rads" comes from the game Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II. It's how an NPC in the Old West pronounces the word "tetrads," an old word for Tetris blocks.
