Right... I've heard you can get some nice, clean lineart effects by using Adobe Illustrator. And so I present to you my first (unfinished) Illustrator piece. ![](http://nindb.classicgaming.gamespy.com/special/forum/glassjoe.jpg) I am going to add some shading layers, maybe rebuild his feet (I suck at drawing feet), I think the outlines could be darkened a bit, especially for his skin. Oh, and I'll do a nice background for him. But for now, what do you think?

Fry, wow! I must say that you're art seems to get better each time I see it! Such a shame I don't know who Glass Joe is. Time to scour the Database!

Do you use a tablet or was that completely with a mouse?

I sketched it with a tablet (but a scan would have been just as good), then did the vector lineart over the top of the sketch with the mouse. I'm just more accurate that way ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) For anyone who doesn't know him, he's the first fighter in Punch-Out!! (Arcade) and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (NES). Also allegedly the only boxer ever beaten by Gabby Jay. There's a lot of ties between each of these games... I never noticed before ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I like a lot these kind of simple pictures. I love the lineart and coloring that you used here. Very nice job!
