Right, before I go live with it, can anyone tell me if they see any games missing from the soon-to-be Future Game List: www.planetnintendo.com/nindb/preview.shtmlIt's not much, but I didn't intend for it to be much. It's just somewhere for me to keep up to date on information I gather regarding announcements... and with E3 around the corner I was getting desperate for one of them Still, I was quite surprised to see the Game Boy trailing so far behind. Maybe the DS really will usurp it after all. That's not far... I haven't even had my SP a year yet

Bah, I've gone live with it anyway. As a result of adding it to every menu, I also changed the menus a bit as well, so it's easier to find certain lists that were a bit lost on the last format.
I also changed some of the file linking around a little bit, so if you find anything odd, such as a missing image or wrong system menu on the top of the game page, that's due to an error that existed already, but was not affected by the old layout (but is by the new). Just let me know what page and I'll fix it in a jiffy... but I think I caught most of them.

Metroid Pinball - DS All I really know is that Fuse Games, who did Mario Pinball, are behind this. The Metroid affiliate you have has more info...

Well, DK King of Swing isn't out here either. Or was it cancelled for NA release?

Duuuudes! Read the top of the page. As soon as a game is out in ANY region (that is, as soon as it gets a game page on the site) then it comes off the Future Games list, even if it's not out in US/Europe/Japan yet. The reason is simple: last time I tried to put up regional future games lists it was a spectacular mess, and a lot of work... neither of which are things I like.
So yes, DK: King of Swing, and Donkey Konga 2 (not sure about Konga 3 yet, but we'll see) will be coming out in America, but because they're already out in other regions of the world already, they won't appear on the Future Games list.
Metroid Pinball, on the other hand, is fine! Hopefully that's the ONLY one I missed, and it'll be clear sailing from here until E3! (I've booked three days off work just to make sure I catch every scoop!)

Metroid Pinball? Sure it'll probably be good and all, but I can't imagine such a mature game series including spin-offs. Making a four-player Zelda was great, but a Metroid Pinball just feels weird. It's as if they made a "Resident Evil racing", or a "Grand Theft Auto Golf" or a "Halo party" (forgive me for mentioning non-Nintendo franchise ;D ). I'll play this game because I'm a fan of Metroid games, but I just hope that the game is good (because it'd be bizarre having a BAD METROID game), that it becomes the ONLY Metroid spin-off, and that they don't make a Zelda pinball. Nevertheless, I'll support Nintendo by giving this game a try .

Metroid Pinball? Dear lord... if they need to make more pinball games can't they just create a new franchise, stick to Pokémon, or bring back Kirby pinball?
Or better yet... Super Smash Pinball! Kill ALL the birds with one stone! A different table for each franchise. A little like Sonic Pinball Party, but good.
The Mario table could use a Koopa shell as a ball, Zelda could have... a bomb or something, Kirby could have Ball Kirby, Metroid could have Morph Ball, etc... See, I wouldn't mind that at all. ;D

You mean like "Pinball of the Dead" or "Typing of the Dead" for the House of the Dead series? I'm not familiar with House of the Dead, but I'm sure you know what I meant before. What I meant when I wrote earlier is making a spinoff game of a mature franchise that is taken seriously (such as Metroid, Halo, Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, and HOUSE OF THE DEAD ). I mean, can you imagine Master Chief competing in a Limbo game, or Jill Valentine in a go-cart. I feel wierd seeing Samus in a PINBALL game.

Just thought of something - what about Mario Kart Arcade GP? Its not on a Nintendo console, but it is an upcoming Nintendo game. And it will no doubt be ported to GCN / Rev.
Metroid Pinball makes more sense than Mario Pinball. And if handled right, it could be awesome. Especially if they can translate the boss battles to pinball.

Metroid Pinball makes more sense than Mario Pinball. Quite frankly, neither of them make a whole lot of sense. Although Mario Pinball Land was a good-looking game, it was a chore to play. I fear Metroid Pinball will be the same way.

I suppose I should stand up for the small British developer... but I've just picked up Super Mario Ball and I know it's a tricky (though pretty) game.
But a lot of games have been getting bad press lately, and that's just spurred me to try them out even more. DK: King of Swing is case in point... 55%? Don't make me laugh... this is an absolutely FANTASTIC title with excellent music, loads of hidden extras, a raft of excellent ideas with ever-increasing difficulty... and once you stop trying to "climb" and learn to fling yourself from one point to another across the abyss you come to love it. Still, it kinda aches your fingers a bit.
But I picked up Super Mario Ball yesterday (and F-Zero: GP Legend), so my Game Boy will be getting some serious lovin'.
