*bump* Creating MUGEN characters takes a lot of time, practice, and perhaps some money to buy Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, in my opinion. Right now, I am trying to learn how to make a good AI (artificial intelligence) file for a character. I kept asking people at MUGEN Guild some questions, and most of them ignored my replies. I'm also trying to learn how to convert character files for Fighter Maker to character files for MUGEN. Why? Despite me being more interested in lesser-known and Japan-Only characters, this character is funny, in my opinion. Read the video's description.

Three new characters created: Chiki (the Mamkute from the first, third and eleventh Fire Emblem titles) and May (a.k.a. Sapphire in the manga and Haruka in the Japanese version of the anime) from the Pokemon series. Marth, Sheeda and an Armored Knight are all of Chiki's assistants. I believe it would have been better if Marth was created as a whole MUGEN character himself, and let Oguma be her new swordsman assistant. Click here to watch. This next video shows the Famicom Wars soldiers and tanks protecting George W. Bush from Osama bin Laden. Click here to watch. And check this out, if you enjoy Pokemon-related stuff. However, it's not MUGEN-powered, so perhaps there are some people out there trying to rip out the sprites and sound effects from it so they can be converted to MUGEN.

I've been playing that game like crazy.... it's SO GOOD. Incredible how well the characters are animated.... it's pro sprite work. There are only 5 characters, but each one of them feels 100% complete. Blaziken, Gengar, Lucario, Snorlax and Gardevoir. They each have a unique play style... each one has their own 3 assists (usually their de-evolved forms help out, Lucario even uses his trainer)... each one has a voice, special moves, supers and taunts. It's VERY impressive for a FREE fan-made game. There are little details in the game too, the kind you don't really see much in fighters anymore. For example... Gengar's super is Dream Eater (Took a while for me to figure that out). You have to put them to sleep before you use it. So each character has a custom sleeping animation, and once you use dream eater... you can see what they're dreaming about. Cool details like that. HERE is the link to download it. It's a really small file amazingly. I've recently just got re-involved with mugen... I've stayed away from it for a long time because the community was so chaotic. But now I'm a leecher once again.

Somebody is working on a Lucario WIP for mugen and it looks like it's coming along really well.
The game was updated yesterday to version 2.5B with balance tweaks. They actually made Lucario alot worse, by changing his dash into a special move, and his normal dash is a jump. Gardevoir can no longer spam future sight... that was a big balance issue. Few new animations I noticed, Gengar got a new animation for his counter. They added names to the vs screen... and I think there's a garou mark of the wolves style "advanced guard" now.
Back on topic to Mugen though.... many years back I remember Shin Ryouga working on a Samus WIP. He even made sure not to flip the sprites when she changed direction. I only saw a few sprites but they looked very good. He's the one that made Mario, which is one of the best mugen characters ever made... so no doubt his Samus would rule. Any ideas as to what happened with that? Did he abandon the project?

Also, there was another Samus project being developed by Reuben Kee (the creator of Evil Ryu, Evil Ken and the best original MUGEN creation: Dragon Claw. He was also responsible for some remixes at OCRemix, as well as some of his own), but several months ago, Reuben Kee passed away in a boat accident.

Well I'm working on more Fighting Game Esque Demille sprites, which will mi some animations, which will make them look a bit like GIM's YoYo attacks from Kirby Superstar.
Buth his specials will be animated the same way as in TA...

Whoa how do you play the game on fights without the wierd number across the bottom of the screen? :S Look it up man, there's a site dedicated to helping people with MUGEN. I forgot it though, I gave up with MUGEN a long time ago. But it's pretty high up on the Google scale.

Eh, I've looked for a few days, but, I haven't found anything =/
Oh well. It doesn't bother me that much, but if I like, release my game...it wouldn't necessarily be pretty. =/
