Silly Smashonies. That's what I would call the Disney-themed Smash Bros.-like game. ;D
I would have the following characters as playable, although that's the most I could come up with so that's not everyone.
1. Mickey Mouse (he's kinda a must-have, you know) - his FS could be dressing up in his Fantasia costume to use magic 2. Dumbo - moves on four legs, uses his trunk to punch, his head to headbutt, and his ears to glide, his FS could involve a stampede of pink elephants 3. Robin Hood - he shoots arrows and uses arrow-ropes to tether recover and maybe fights with a dagger 4. Scrooge McDuck - uses his cane to fight and as a pogo stick (like the NES games) and to shoot laser beams (like in one DuckTales episode) and maybe uses his lucky dime as a reflector 5. Aladdin - he could use the magic carpet to deflect projectiles and to fly up, his FS would be rubbing the magic lamp to summon Genie 6. Chip 'n Dale - teamed up like the ICs, they throw nuts and each other to reach higher levels and roll together like a ball 7. Mary Poppins - she might use the umbrella to float and to fight, run over her enemies by riding a carousel horse, and lull her enemies to sleep, her FS would be dancing with the chimney sweepers to attack anyone who are in the way 8. Alice - she could launch fireworks from an unbirthday cake, fly and fight by using the flamingo, uses gophers as projectiles by swinging the flamingo, and her FS would be growing into a giant like Giga Bowser 9. Darkwing Duck - he could poof in a cloud of smoke to teleport, uses the grappling hook-gun to grab his enemies and to tether recovery, and maybe do some martial arts
That's not all. I'd like Stitch (Lilo & Stitch), Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Hercules, Beast, Jack Skellington (Nightmare Before Christmas), Donald Duck, Goofy, Baloo (TaleSpin), among others.
The Disney assist characters would be the following:
1. Raven - the girl from That's So Raven, she would do her signature looking-into-the-future look that shows someone falling off the stage but we don't know who, and after the vision is done, a random character is instantly KO'd for no reason 2. 101 Dalmatians - this is so easy! 101 dalmatians run over the stage like a stampede 3. Tinkerbell - she flies around and sprinkles fairy dust that enables everyone to have multiple jumps temporarily 4. Kaa - the snake from The Jungle Book, he hypnotizes characters around him, leaving them immobile so the player can attack them
That's all I could come up with. I know it will never happen but I can dream, can't I?

Can we post other Smash related fan ideas in here as well? Because I've recently been playing a lot of Sonic Battle and have been wondering how to translate the Smash cast into that game's moveset style. In response to Arcadenik: Your post heavily reminds me of this MUGEN site.
It also makes me want a Disney vs. Warner Bros. made by Capcom, who I might add are known for Disney platformers.
Nester the Lark: Also, I know YL isn't into speedruns, but he might be interested to know that RPG Limit Break is having a Gust marathon all weekend, including several Atelier games.

nocturnal YL: Ah… Bad timing. I didn't read this until now, when it's almost over.

Nester the Lark: Well, if you're still interested, they'll be uploading the replays to their YouTube channel later this week.

Shrikeswind: I like that Mayles put her back in her kneepads. What's the last game they were in? One of the Kongas? It was a good look for her, albeit very 90's.

Shrikeswind: The jokes call to me, their siren song a temptation I can hardly bear, yet I must stay my tongue. Confound my dirty sense of humor.

Nester the Lark: The replies I see to anything Nintendo posts on Twitter are probably an indication as to why they abandoned Miiverse and decided that social media should be someone else's responsibility.

nocturnal YL: As mentioned in Twitter, I'm currently playing Atelier Meruru DX. I'm thinking about writing reviews for the Arland series afterwards, as well as making a second Nintendo Switch review video after I finish either this or my next game.

Nester the Lark: ^ I would be interested in seeing your reviews of the Arland games.

Nester the Lark: So, there's been Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors. But guys, how about this: Punch-out Warriors! It's like Punch-out, but you fight all of your opponents at once!

Shrikeswind: Sounds punchy, but unless it's a real knock-out I don't think it'd be a hit.

Shrikeswind: You know, you'd figure eventually I'd get a hang of the whole "personal tradition" thing. You'd figure.
