Hey guys. I've been really busy with work lately so I haven't been able to draw much and still haven't set up a Deviant Art account which I've been meaning to do for years now

I wanted to share some of my Nintendo related work with you so im just going to post it here. You will have seen almost all of these pictures before in the 1st and 2nd collaboration posters, but I have made slight amendments to Ganondorf and also put up a completely new image of Link which I drew last week, done in a manga style. So without further ado...

I very much like the colors for the Ganondorf picture as well as the addition of the background; it adds a lot of weight to the picture, makes it look a lot better. (Not like there was anything wrong with it before, mind. ^^)

Also! I can't quite put my finger on it, but I like how you did Link's profile.

Your style is wonderful, simple lines yet the effect is so WOW!

Your facial expressions in particular are subtle but full of emotion, especially your Link. Hurry up with that Deviantart account, its quite simple to set up and they'll love you over there!

Sometimes, a simple line is all it takes! And Kohta, you have certainly mastered the art of making more out of less. The images aren't busy, but they are well-structured. They remind me a lot of a fanartist I used to love a while ago during the N64/GC era - I'll try and dig out a link to their gallery, if it still exists ;D

I'll set up a DeviantArt account on Thursday when I've got some time off. I want to experiment more with colour in my pictures because as you know im lazy when it comes to that Theres a whole colour palette on fireworks that is going unloved...

But I sure do loves me line-art!

Ganondorf was basically hand drawn and hand inked, then scanned and coloured in Macromedia Fireworks. I set the "fill" and "brushes" i used to have a texture, which is why his hair is 'Oilslick' and his robe is a cloth texture. I thought this would give him a unique but defined look. I then simply added a background image behind him and integrated him into it.

Manga-style Link is purely hand drawn then scanned, no edits. Ike is hand drawn, scanned as is Samus. Wolf was drawn from scratch in Fireworks. And thanks savage adam for you comment! ;D

The Link and the third pictures are good, but your Ganondorf is great! He looks like the official art Nintendo had for the Wind Waker. Good stuff Kohta.

Thank you! Took me forever to get his hair and beard right. I decided on the Wind Waker Ganondorf because I really like his design. The new (TP) design I really don't like.
