OK, we all know about some of the treasures being obvious cameos, but here's a not so obvious one: Growshroom: A mushroom similar in shape (but not appearance) to a Mario mushroom. The description mentions something like "eat this and you will expand up to ten times your normal size!" Can't be sure, I haven't checked it in quite some time. Also, if I can be bothered, I shall start posting here all the lisenced products in the game, as I have just recently collect every treasure! GLOATING MODE ON! ;D

Heh, I've got 1 and a half dungeons to complete, and the only overground treasure I need is that super-heavy one that requires 100 purple Pikmin. If there's any final stage (ala. Pikmin 1) then I guess I have to do that one as well. There's quite a few maybe-cameos in the game. Any more that aren't listed on the site? (Don't mention the Unforgettable Gyro... which I ironically forgot to include).

Right, I've just had a quick look, and here's the exact wording of the Growshroom description:
"According to the ship's analysis, you'll grow into a giant if you eat one of these."
And here's a few of those licensed treasures:
#155: Proton AA - This is a Duracell AA battery.
#156: Durable Energy Cell - This is a large Duracell battery, I can't make out what size, but it's a cylinder shaped one.
#157: Courage Reactor - This is a large Duracell battery, again I can't make out the size, but it's another cylinder.
#158: Fuel Reservoir - This is a very large Duracell battery, this time rectangular in shape.
More soon, those were the first licensed ones numerically.

Here's some more of those lisenced treasures:
#159: Container of Knowledge - a "Connetable" branded can of sardines
#160: Container of Sea Bounty - a "Hawesta" branded can of herring fillet
#161: Patience Tester - a "Sun Luck" branded can of water chestnuts
#162: Perfect Container - its hard to tell, but the brand looks like "Beach Cliff", and its a tin of sardines.
#163: Survival Container - a "Clabber Girl" branded tub of baking powder
#164: Endless Repository - don't know the brand as its japanese writing, but it's a tin of baby clams
#165: Open Architecture - the brand is slightly obscured, so it reads "Break Day Br-", and it's a tin of Akebono Salmon
#166: Permanent Container - an "ICC" branded tin, but I am unsure of the contents
#167: Empty Space Container - don't know the brand as its japanese writing, but it looks like a tin of clams...?
#168: Stringent Container - a "Meidi-Ya's" branded can of corned beef
#169: Open Archive - don't know the brand as its japanese writing, but it looks like a can of beans...?
#170: Nutrient Silo - a "Skippy" branded jar of peanut butter
#171: Plentiful Tank - don't know if this is the brand, but the word "breitsamer" appears on the label. Its a jar of yellowy-brown stuff.
#172: Drone Supplies - a "Haribo" branded bag of sweets.
More soon!

Remember, though, that I think a bunch of these brands changed between the different regions of the game.

In that case, this is the PAL list.
