I've been playing Trace Memory and wanted to mention some cameos I found. You probably have found them already, but possibly not.
In the Golden Bird Room in chapter two before you take the E Book you can read the title of a book on the shelf. It's called 'Path of Radiance", subtitle of the Fire Emblem game. Then go in the Silver Bird Room and on the shelf with the N Book you can find a book called "The Legend of Zelda Chronology."
I'm playing through my second time, now. I'll see if there's any other books.

Really? Cool, no. I missed all of those. I was keeping my eyes wide open for cameos as well. AND I was stuck on the bookshelf puzzle for AGES.
But you may be referring to the other bookshelf puzzle. Regardless... I'll crack open the game later on (when my DS has recharged).

They are on the shelves where you find those book.(Only the "E" and "N" books, they don't let you check the books with the third book) You're probably talking about the other bookshelf puzzle? The one with the key hidden in a book?

Rightoh. That's much sooner in the game. ;D
That second puzzle had me tearing my hair out for hours on end. I can't even remember if I solved it, or if I just got lucky.

But remember you have to look at the books BEFORE you take the "E" and "N" books. If you pick them up it won't let you look at the shelf. The puzzle that gave me the most trouble was probably the broken pencil puzzle. Now that I've done it I can't believe I missed it the first time through the game. (And I think I got a bad ending for missing it.) The stamp puzzle had me confused for a little while, too.

Are you playing a different version to me or something? Like a US version or anything?
In mine they're just all called "old books"
