Note: Famicom DS stands for Famicom Disk System. I love this joke Just imagine... the Rev gave up the idea of downloading, using Nintendo Power-type stations to replace it. What would you like to see about the media used? I'll be supporting hard disks if they're on RAID-1 or similar arrays. If not, it would be my 3rd least choice, with FCDS disks and floppies below it. I'm supporting rewritable DVDs then. EDIT - ugh, I've found the options with inaccurate description. I gotta explain it! Carts and Game Paks <For example, Nintendo Power> Flash memory cards <For example, Gamecube memory cards> Built-in flash memoryFloppies, SuperDisks, ZIPs, etc <Jaz is not included. It'll go to other removables. Magnectic tape should not be included here too> Famicom DS Disk Cardsrewritable CDs and DVDs <Or any other removable optical media minus MO> Hard disks and other non-removable magnetic media <Ugh, I mean, non-removable in general. Hard disks ARE removable - and I'll remove some of them soon or later!> Other removables, such as MOs and USB drives

I'm slightly confused. And by slightly, I mean very. I guess I'd say the best is a hard-drive type memory, but with something that allows for transfer, like, I dunno, USB Flash Drives. Yeah, that'll do.

I voted for hard drive... although I like the idea of being able to save games onto removable media as well when the hard drive is full. I wouldn't want to sacrifice a beloved collection simply because I used up so much space!

Hard drive, but I vote for a removeable memory like Fryguy said. But only ONE memory disk type thing that can plug into a frikking USB drive. I love the idea of sharing saves and such online.

My hard drive started to be unstable (the MFT occassionally gets corrupted) so I started not to trust magnetic storage... not until I get my RAID-1 array and have backups at the same time.
I need time doing research on RAID, though. And time to look for a good and cheap RAID card.
For the reason of durability that's shy I voted for DVDs. The type that Gamecube is using is the most preferrable, since slightly scratched disc won't affect the data. But then... if the disc is protected that way, how can it be burned?

I'm used to using the GC memory cards a lot, so I voted for Flash memory cards.

Memory cards, because, if one of your games breaks, or you sell it, you can rent or buy the game again, and still have your data!
