Game Boy in Battalion Wars

I've only played the game for a little bit, but I managed to stumble across a little Game Boy reference.

Y'see, I was controlling an infantry unit (rifle), and one of the enemy's bazooka units shot a rocket at me. My unit was killed in the explosion and flew back a bit... during the explosion, I happened to notice a purple/blue-ish Game Boy flying through the air a bit, apparantly belonging to the soldier.

The description is a little vague considering I've only noticed this once... that, and the fact that I've only played (and owned) the game for about two hours.
Just pointing it out, so someone else can confirm it

I figured there would have to be SOME kind of cameo or reference in this game. I expected something small - like a written text reference to something.

I believe a Game Boy flying out of the debris would qualify! Let's find out if it's true!

while I have only seen this game in action at a friends house, we noticed the same thing

if I had Battalion Wars I'd go look for it
