Talking about 1080 Avalanche cameos - after collecting all 18 coins in Time Trial you get new designs for all boards. Alternative version of the 8-Bit Soul have Luigi image on it instead of Mario. I'm not sure if it was listed here already though.

I don't believe it was. I got lazy after finishing the final mountain and never bothered completely finishing the game ;D

Love that game though. Better than the N64 version in my eyes - or at least much more playable.

Just played 1080 Avalanche again and noticed there are two more alternatives boards that can be counting as a cameo. Akari's Once bitten board new design have GameCube logo and small 1080 writing on its upside and big GameCube writing on its underside.
Also Keman's Scaretactix board alternative design have some strange patterns on red background and big black & white Nintendo logo on the underside. I don't exacly know if that patterns have something to do with Nintedo though.
