I was just wondering if there will be a page for Cubivore at all, seeing how it was kind of developed by Nintendo but released by Atlus in America.
Also wouldn't that be a first in Nintendo history?
Maybe you can put with the "Cameos in Non-Nintendo Games" page or something.

There is a page for Doubutsu Banchou (at www.planetnintendo.com/nindb/dol/gdb/index.shtml). Cubivore didn't really have anything to do with Nintendo, except for the fact that Intelligent Systems ported the Japanese version from N64 to Cube (although Intelligent Systems aren' really Nintendo). Also I'm sure Doshin the Giant made a cameo in this games ending when you have all the Mutations. I noticed it wasn't on the games page.

What do you mean? A cameo of Doshin in the Cubivore game or a cameo of Cubivore in the Doshin game?

Cubivore didn't really have anything to do with Nintendo Actualy it did. It was made by Saru Brunei which is a divsion of Marigul, which is partialy owned by Nintendo.

Marigul Management was set up and funded by Nintendo, but is a separate company. Nintendo did it to allow small development studios to get all the help big development studios get. Marigul Management is just a middleman in the whole process and actually have very little to do. Nintendo gives advice and the smaller companies get published. Param, Noise, Ambrella and Saru Brunei benefitted (and one more had an N64 game in development that never made it out). But Nintendo do not develop the games by those small studios - they are technically third-party studios who get a little more help from Nintendo. However, Nintendo helps many of their licensees in this way. They're only guaranteed to publish the games in Japan, though a small handful have now made it abroad. So no, it's nothing like Atlus publishing a game developed by Nintendo. I've been told about the Doshin cameo before, but was also told it was only in the Japanese version. I also wasn't given enough information or a picture, so I decided to leave it off until I found something - but this is the first time since then that I've heard anyone mention it at all... besides - Cubivore never got released over here EDIT: Also, I've never heard that Intelligent Systems ported it to GC. Where'd you hear that?

I can't seem to find any sources but I remember Nintendo had had a small event in February 2002 to allow the public to play Doubutsu Banchou, Kyojin no Doshin and some other smaller games. During this event the creators of both games gave interviews and they both mentioned that the original teams had been broken up and Nintendo took it upon themselves to release these games, with a few EAD programmers handling Kyojin no Doshin and a few IS programmers handling Doubutsu Banchou. I think I got this information when someone on a (trustworthy) message-board translated the interviews but I can't seem to find anything about in on any website, so you may want to do some more investigating before you take it as the truth.

Yes, and I think that's where the confusion lies. The games were developed - Saru Brunei would have finished developing Doubutsu Banchou before the liquidation of Marigul.
And yes, some Nintendo employees worked on Doshin, including that ex-Argonaut guy who worked on that Mario face at the start of SM64 (it's late... I can't remember names).
But it looks as if the companies that were under Marigul have mostly continued on their own pace. Noise is still pumping out Custom Robo games, finally breaking the western market as well, and Ambrella have just released the stare-at-the-TV-game "Pokemon Channel". I presumed Param was still going, but now I'm not so sure.
