Psedo-Cameos in US Patents

Yes Pseudo-Cameos, as I can't exactly call them Cameos.

Cameo
When something from one game series makes an appearance in a different game series, then it is a cameo. It doesn't just have to be a character, but an item, song... anything really.
For example, Mario appears in Pinball on the NES. Zelda music appears in Super Mario Bros. 3... etc. etc.
Note that I kind of draw the line at certain sound effects.

Now Putting this in the Cameo/Easter Egg board seemed more correct, and less lazy, than putting it in the general board. I'm sure most of you will forgive me. Without further ado here they are:

Hey, not a real update but i've got a quicky question on this: US Patent: 6115036 This seems to be a devise for The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Some of the figures are similer to Mario Paint and Mario Artist, But any know anything about the devise in Fig 1B? Based on the network Image in Fig 4 It may be an early-early Wii, note the filing date of 1994.

I don't know if I'd say there are really cameos, but the patents are cool to look at.

There not really cameos. But there was a lot of very intresting informationm waiting to be compiled into some orginised list. So it was my dutie to do so.

Going by the description on the first page and the sheer number of connections and networking, etc... I'd hazard a guess and say this is a Super Famicom dev-kit.
