In one of the senarios, where you must enter a little boy's dream to prevent him from peeing on the bed, Mario and Luigi look alikes come and help fix a pluming problem. GametrailersYeah, it's weird, but it puts most EBA songs to shame.

If we're counting characters from the first Ouendan as cameos, then the cat from the restaurant is an unlockable multiplayer character, and also returns to battle the heros' robot as Meowzilla. The potter returns as a client at a Geisha house, as well the judge of a cooking-themed multiplayer level. The TV reporter is now also officially in all three games: appearing many, many times.
Oh, and for formality's sake: I agree with the sighting of the salaryman from O!T!O.
