I don't know if this counts but there is a big statue of Elvis Presley on the Las Vegas course.(in the N64 version). I will provide a screenshot soon.
EDIT: Vegas mispelled funny first.

Elvis really isn't a game charicter from any major game franchises. But it might count as a misc reference, not sure though considering there are a lot of Evli in real world Vegas.

Erm... not really a cameo. I don't want to get into the habit of doing "real world" cameos too often. I know I have one or two on the site, but they're of no interest to me or most people who read this site.

Don't be cruel! Maybe it isn't Elvis. Maybe it's a cameo for Blue Suede Goo from Clay Fighter. Or perhaps I have a suspicious mind?

Yes, because THERE is a game you'd want to cameo....

So the Idea here is that a Picture of Elvis in a game that takes place in the real world is as in place as a painting of Prof. Gadd in a Mario Game. But a picture of the Beatles in an Earthbound game is a cameo because earthbound doesn't take place in the real world.
Or am I missing something?

The Beatles in Earthbound isn't really a 'cameo', is it? Wouldn't it be more of a 'reference'?

That's why I said: I am aware there are some on here, but they will be removed as and when I can be bothered

This is bizarre, but the page for Cruis'n Exotica at the Killer List of Videogames suggests that there's more to the Elvis cameo than meets the eye: Is there any verification for this, and is it only in the arcade version? Or is it just a hunk-a, hunk-a burning cow manure?

Oh DK...your hair style gets you in many pickles. Er...that would make sense...after all, Sonic was in a Ridge Racer game on a poster...and Pac Man was a decal on one of the cars...
