Hi ! I've noticed something in the DS rythm game "Daigassou! Band Brothers", also known as "Jam with the Band". I was playing with the songs at the end of the list (Actually the Nintendo songs ! ) when I decided to try the other ones. I was taking them randomly, when I found one with a skull on the CD, the 13th in the list. It was playing some kind of familiar music ... Then I remembered ! Even if the entire song isn't really the Tetris Theme (It's called "Russian Medely"), we can clearly hear the famous GB Tetris A-Theme ; Korobeiniki at several moment in the music. I've searched and I've not found any related topic. So, excuse me if it has been already discovered ! =/ Hope I've brought you informations (and the desire to turn on your Gameboy again ! ;p) ! *Leaving discreetly the subject* Does anyone here got the extension with the Ayumi's Theme and all ? ^^' And excuse me for my wacky english ! I'm Belgian ! ^^

Well, the song isn't really Tetris' theme. If I recall, it was originally a song called Sugar Fairies, or something like that. It's a traditional Russian song that was put in Tetris with other Russian songs. This one just became the most famous.

Although you kinda know when Nintendo uses it, it's "The Tetris Song". It's actually more famous for being the Tetris song now, I believe. Alexei Pazhitnov is very proud of that point, so I've read

Sugar Fairies ? Isn't that the NES Tetris Song-A ? I'm talking about Korobeinki, the "Tetris Theme" ( MIDI Sample )

Whoops, I mixed up two of the songs from Tetris. The Tetris theme song is called Korobeiniki. I mixed it up with "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" which was also featured in Tetris.
