wii.ign.com/articles/786/786460p1.htmlSome more awesome news - Wii will be getting its first 2D fighter, and Guilty Gear is one of the most insane ones out there. Arc System Works is even going as far to include Wii-mote controls to add to the mayhem. Purists can rest easy though, as there will be a standard configuration as well. I consider this to be good news. Hopefully it will come stateside. I enjoyed my time with the original.

I heard about this some time ago. I've never had a chance to play any of the Guilty Gear games, but I've been interested to try them because I like 2D fighting games, and because Guilty Gear is one of the few games to use true hi-res 2D graphics. This is, indeed, good news!

Purists can rest easy though, as there will be a standard configuration as well. Just to clarify, does that mean that we'll be able to use a GC controller instead of the Wiimote?

I have Guilty Gear X: Advance Edition. I have never been able to learn to control the characters as well as I could in any other fighting game. Maybe it's just me, though.

Just to clarify, does that mean that we'll be able to use a GC controller instead of the Wiimote? According to IGN, So...no mention of the GC controller. We'll see.

According to Gamespot, it appears that Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core will be released for the Wii in the US. Not only that, but it will also support both the Classic Controller and the GameCube controller. Nice!
