Anyone remember seeing some arcades in some movies? Ever wondered what some of the ones you couldn't tell are? Well click here and check out some arcades seen in several movies. Some arcades that look different compared to the ones in reality and MAME were created only for the movie they were seen in. This thread might also include home consoles and their games seen in movies. One of the most notable examples is The Wizard, the movie that showed video game stuff like the Power Glove (owned by Mattel, NOT NINTENDO), Rad Racer 1, and Super Mario Bros. 3. I remember seeing the original Mario Bros., one of Nintendo's VS. arcades, and the original Punch-Out!! arcade in the movie, Over the Top. I also remember seeing the SNES F-ZERO in Last Action Hero and the Virtual Boy in Runaway Bride.

One of the most notorious examples of gross inaccuracy as far as video games are concerned was Charlie's Angels. There's a part where they show two boys playing Final Fantasy IX, a one player game.
