The 2007 Leipzig Games Convention has begun, and I've already found a few tasty morsels.
IGN has a bunch of new screenshots of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. I have to admit, it looks like fun to me.
Finally, IGN has some actual screenshots of Cruis'n. It certainly looks like a Cruis'n game, although these particular shots are noticeably pixilated. I'm not saying that means anything this early, it just looks so... 1996.
2K Games is working on a Wii version of Top Spin Tennis. Just recently, I was thinking how Sega should be making a Virtua Tennis for the Wii. And while 2K Games used to develop the 2K sports games for Sega on the Dreamcast and subsequent consoles, Virtua Tennis (and Tennis 2K2) were developed by Hitmaker (Sega AM3). Of course, now 2K Games is a subsidiary of Rockstar. So what does it all mean? Absolutely nothing! But I'm glad the Wii will finally get a real tennis game. (Sources: Next Generation, Gamespot)
I was gonig to mention Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, but Smashchu has beaten me to it. Personally, I prefer to think that the PS2 is getting the shovelware version.
