Haha, I hated the official U.S. art for Kid Chameleon. Totally out of style with the game itself. Why did developers do that in the 80's and early 90's?
Is the game available on the VC yet?

Hurry up and get to Decap Attack, Old Man! Easily the best series in the whole comic. I never got much into Kid Chameleon... or Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Eternal Champions... I always thought those strips were way too heavy for a comic aimed at children. When I was a kid, I just used to read Sonic and Decap Attack, and that was it. Which is why I was glad when the comic was cut down to just having multiple Sonic-universe stories and Decap Attack.

I never knew that any SEGA series besides Sonic the Hedgehog and NiGHTS Into Dreams had a comic series. Those were the only ones I saw advertised in other comic books.

These particular comics were made and printed only in the UK, which is probably why you've never heard of them. They were also just sub-stories in the UK's Sonic comic, rather than seperate comics themselves.

Page 2: i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc180/oldmanrupee/Kc2.jpg?t=1192699209So very 80s! Yes, I will be getting round to Decap Attack too, it's one of my favourites! Then comes Shinobi, Sparkster (from the Rocket Knights games), Mutant League Football... I may decide to upload three series at a time, Streets of Rage, Kid Chameleon, and Decap Attack. Be aware though, I'm missing a few issues - plotholes!!!

I have every issue right here on my computer. They're not exactly in a web-friendly format, though.

Meh, I've been thinking about completing my collection with some Ebay purchases anyway, so this is a perfect excuse!

Speaking of comics, I found this download for old Super Mario comics from Nintendo Power and other sources. I haven't downloaded it yet, but you guys might like it.

There's something refreshing about the Britishisms on page 3 "Hey what gives? You fancy her?" "Nah. Course not. Just my mum knows her mum." Don't see that kinda discourse in comic books often.
