If Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Ghost Squad aren't enough to satisfy your lightgun gaming appetite, then you might be interested to know that Sega is planning to release a compilation of the second and third House of the Dead games on the Wii early next year. ( source) It strikes me as a little odd that they don't throw in the first game as well, but maybe they think it's too old and clunky by today's standards. (And if that's the case, then coming from Sega, it really means something!) It also does not include the fourth game, which is already three years old, and as far as I know has never been released for a home console. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see rail shooters getting something of a revival. I'll take one of these over a FPS any day! Bring on the Time Crisis collection!

This is good news! I have good memories of playing HotD 2 on my Dreamcast. The voice acting was terrible though.

I love playing House of the Dead on the arcade. Too bad I'm not very good. I know I'll be playing 2-Player mode just so I can have two guns.

"At last you've come, friends! The door of fate shall open!"
"It's like they're inviting me in!"
"GOLDMAN!"
"To protect the LARF cycle!"
