Hmm...first Nintendo does a crossover fighting game, then SEGA is coming out with a crossover tennis game, now Capcom is coming out with a crossover golf game? Yes it's true. We Love Golf is an upcoming game for the Wii, featuring various Capcom characters (such as Jill Valentine, Arthur (from Ghouls ‘n Ghosts), Chun-Li, and Apollo Justice) as well as your Mii's playing...well, golf! It looks pretty good actually...There's no sign of Mega Man or Phoenix Wright though...

As far as I understand it, those characters are not really included, per se, but rather they're costumes you can dress up the game's characters in. I suppose it's not a huge difference, tho.
Looks fun. I would hope that it recreates the physics of Wii Sports Golf, but has a more fleshed out game design.
And it's being developed by Camelot, which is a good thing.

Wow, the crossover sports thing is spreading. Next up, Pac-Man bowling!

It just occurred to me, shouldn't they be calling it "Wii Love Golf?"

Wikipedia lists a cancelled PC game titled 'I Love Golf' by Camelot. I guess it has something to do with that.
This looks pretty cool. I hope we'll get to see some more cameo costumes soon.

Kotaku reports that Capcom is planning to add two new outfits to the US version of We Love Golf. Right now, Capcom's got a poll on it's blog allowing users to vote on which costumes they'd like to see for the male and female characters. The choices include Ashley Graham, Cammy, Morrigan, Roll Caskett, and Rouge for the girls; and Balrog, Captain Commando, Frank West, Guy, and Ken for the boys. I think my votes will go to Captain Commando and Ashley.

I did Captain Commando and Roll. Though it seems Morrigan and Ken will win...

Oh man, Frank West would be faaan-tastic. Why can't they just do all of them, though?

The two alternate costume characters have been announced. The two that were picked are Ken and Morrigan. Link

TV Eye is a prophet. Well, they were the two more likely choices, really.

IGN reports that the US version of We Love Golf will include online multi-player, a feature that was not present in the Japanese version. You'll also be able to use your Miis online for the first time in a Wii sports game. I don't think I've ever been this interested in a golf game before.

Thought this was worth passing along. IGN has posted a demonstration of Wii We Love Golf, performed by producer Hironobu Takesh ita (creator of Zack & Wiki). He shows off some of the Capcom costumes. He shows how the golf swing mechanic works. He also shows the online modes. It looks like the game is shaping up great! It almost makes me want to play a game of Wii Sports Golf.

Thought this was worth passing along. IGN has posted a demonstration of Wii We Love Golf, performed by producer Hironobu Takesh ita (creator of Zack & Wiki). I just watched the demonstration video and it was very good but I'm still a little confused about the swing system (the camara could have been closer to the TV but the swinging sounds a lot better than Wii Sports Golf). This game looks extremly well designed and all the Capcom character references are also a nice added touch. Online looks pretty good as well. Nice to see Zack & Wiki (well Zack actually) get a cameo in the game.
