= Yoshi. Mario, Wario, Samus and Link are all also great. As are some others I can't think of right now.

= I dunno. Paper Mario, I guess. He's a character.

= Blastoise. Dixie Kong and Kirby are runners up. And a few other Pokemon, too.

I couldn't choose. I'm okay limiting myself to series, but I don't think I can choose a single overriding favourite character.
By all rights it should be Mario - but it's his games I like, not so much the character. But then would I choose Luigi or Wario? And do I like them more than Tingle?

Is it that Roy is so popular, or just that you guys don't know IntSys well? The reason for me to put IntSys here is that this is the biggest Nintendo 2nd party... I think that IntSys is the only true Nintendo 2nd party, but who knows.... -Nintendo and Intellegent System character = I dunno. Paper Mario, I guess. He/she/it is a hero, at least.  I dunno... thats why I've got 3 back-ups there. And Paper Mario has better moves than Mario, IMO. Okay, maybe not 'better', but 'different'.
