Don't forget, he is not the music director of the game. Chances are he will be contributing ONE song to the title. Unless he manages to hide it in that one song, then no, I seriously doubt we will see Kazumi Totaka's Song in the game.

He will most likely be doing the music for Smashville (the Animal Crossing stage)
BUT...every Saturday at 8:00, KK Slider plays a song in the arena, you think this is where he will put it in? (if he does)

I'm hoping that there are multiple possible songs that K.K will play when you see him on Saturday night (three alternating songs sounds good), and that K.K Song will be one of them. I'd also really love to hear DJ K.K.

Yeah, it's probably gonna be played by K.K.... Or at the credits screen if you shoot his name. (if they keep the Melee credits-style that is.)
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be in there, it seems like one of those traditions Nintendo would like to keep alive.

"We've asked our group of arrangement supervisors to listen to an elite selection of Nintendo music and asked them to arrange several of their favourite songs...which means there will be quite a large number of songs." You see, several is clearly a larger number than one. But conversely, a smaller number than a million. |

I really doubt that Totaka will be doing the music for the AC stage, anyway. It seems like the musicians are arranging songs by other artists rather than their own songs. And I'd much prefer it that way, too.
Totaka didn't arrange the Yoshi's Story song we have so far, so I'm keeping my hopes up. I want to hear some variance from these guys.

Oh, I was just pointing out a few of Fry's posts This is a very cool idea (love the K.K.Slider appearance - I wonder if he'll be playing..... K.K. Song...) I also noticed the Animal Crossing icon, but I'm hard-pressed to think of anyone who might appear. Maybe all characters and stages have their icons. Who can say? Of course K.K song was Totaka's song Oh no. Not K.K. Not another shot at K.K's Song. I doubt it though considering that Totaka isn't the head of this fine games music. No, but he IS writing proper music for the game - probably this stage's and the Yoshi's Story stage. I'd be very surprised if he (and Sakurai) didn't sneak K.K. Song in somehow. It is like the ONLY Nintendo in-joke that isn't a blatant cameo. This may have been a better way to do that post. |
