Click here to listen to it. MY OPINION ABOUT THE UPDATE: I enjoy the BGM in the original Star Fox better than the BGM in any other Star Fox title in existence. It is good to here a remixed version of the "Space Armada" stage from the original Star Fox stage. Hajime Hirasawa did very well on its BGM, but I really do miss the main theme of the original Star Fox.

A thread per update? Is that how its gonna work?
Anyhoo, sounds nice, seems definite it will be used in Lylat Cruise.

Well, I was making conversations with FryGuy64, and he thought it would be nice to create a thread about each update, just so that we won't spread a lot of posts about every update in one thread.

Another music update, finally! This is the longest we've gone without one since the relaunch started.
This is very nice. I wonder if this is the Lylat Cruise music? Sakurai tends to mention when a stage and theme are linked (read: he did it once), and he doesn't mention a stage for this theme, so I dunno. I could definitely see this theme working on Lylat Cruise, but I also think it just might work better elsewhere. I guess we'll see.
I think next week's update might be a Pokeball Pokemon. I don't think we're getting a character this week, or a stage, though we might get a "Special Moves" or "Final Smash" this week. We got a stage just two updates before, and I also did some math. We have 100 updates between today and the release date (well, 99 now). That's 20 weeks. Let's assume for now that the starting roster will be a whopping 20 characters. Dojo has already shown us 11. Unless they want to show us some secret characters before the game comes out, they're going to have to space out character updates a lot more than they have in past updates. For those not following, that means one character every other week. And that's if we really get 20 guys to start with. I'm thinking it'll be more around 18, which means they'll have to space out the character reveals even MORE.

There is definitely a lot of planning going into the ordering of these updates - I really don't think that they would give us 11 character updates in what, 8 weeks only to cut it down drastically to give us only 7-9 more in the next 20 weeks. I don't think we will get a character update every week, but I think we are looking at at least 25 characters (so 14 more) being shown before the game launches. I'm still thinking an initial roster of 25 is in order, allowing for a total of 40 or more (most likely 40, but hopefully more). I also think that in the next 99 updates, stages will appear more, going from roughly 1 update every 2 weeks to maybe 3 updates in 4 weeks or something. Music will continue to be every second week or so, items will be at least 1 a week (more in quite a few cases, where regular items are joined by assist characters or pokemon), and game modes / how to play will show up every so often.

Indeed, hopefully it will mean more characters. But don't forget we're also going to get a load more Pokemon, Assist Trophies and game mode updates, which will no doubt fill quite a chunk of the year. More characters would be excellent, of course But I'm still holding out for some expanded 1P mode stuff, like a huge adventure, which may well blossom into a bunch of updates as well.

I was never a fan of pre-64 Star Fox music, and I didn't like the music they used for Corneria in SSBM, so this update kind of disappoints me. I was also hoping that the music would deviate a little bit more and any themes we'd heard in the past SSB games would either be more drastically incorporated with other songs (like Saria's Song in the OoT medley), or taken away entirely. Still, it's better than a Smash 101 update, so I'll take it!

I enjoy Hajime Hirasawa's Star Fox music more than Hajime Wakai's, because Hirasawa's makes me feel younger and more energetic.
