 When Samus destroys her Power Suit, she’s left with the Zero Suit. What she’s lost in power and weaponry, she makes up for in speed!
Once she turns that Paralyzer in her hand into a whip, she has quite a long reach as well! Not exactly the straightforward fight you thought it was, huh?    |

Yeah, it's odd. The UK/Ireland site doesn't have the update yet, but every other translation of the site does.

Anyone notice that the picture of Zero Suit Samus in the lower right corner picture could be from the Halberd course? (Because of its background).

I'm thinking she will.
My theory now is that they will both be selectable (Samus and ZSS), and will both have a final smash that transforms them into the other one. However, FSs are a 1 time only thing, so you can go from one to the other, but you can't go back. So basically...
Samus can be Samus for the whole match by never final smashing, or be ZSS for a portion of the match with a final smash. Vice versa for ZSS.

However, FSs are a 1 time only thing, Okay, I think this has been GROSSLY misinterpreted. Yes, Sakurai says the move can only be used once. But I don't think he means once per round, or even one per life. Cause then what happens when you've used your Final Smash and a Smash Ball appears on stage again. Does it just go through you? What happens if every player has used a Final Smash and a Smash Ball shows up? Does it just float around the stage, useless? I think what Sakurai was trying to say is that you can only use the attack once each time you obtain the Smash Ball, so novice players wouldn't think that you're super powered for the rest of the match. You get the Smash Ball, you can use your Final Smash once, and then you have to get another Smash Ball if you want to use your Final Smash again. It doesn't really make sense if you can only use a Final Smash once per match. Because, for one thing, that would mean that ZSS doesn't have a Final Smash. And that can't be right. But of course, like a lot of these updates, the wording is too vague for anyone to be sure one way or another. Damn you Sakurai! |

And I don't recall Zelda ever being sexed up. |
