Ah, trophies again. I guess this setting is there to prevent problems like paradoxes, like why multiple same characters fight... "they're not actual characters" is the answer, huh? But then.... what is this update all about? It is mysterious, andi don't get a glimpse at all. And that was WACKY!! ;D And for the second day in a row, the UK site manages to balls it up by making all the text WHITE! Who is updating the UK one? Let me do it!! ALL the text? What are they doing? I can't see that now, but it must be kinda funny.

This world...? I don't know about you but I think it is the story of Super Smash Bros. Could SSBB have a story mode? I don't know but it is possible.
Oh, and who is that guy in the last pic? He looked like he is from Cubivore, judging from his face. But I doubt it.

A new character, most likely. That, or a disguised Sandbag out for revenge.

There's nothing in the clouds. Everyone says they can see stuff in clouds. It's a facial recognition thing - human brains are designed to do that.
But there's nothing there. Wishful thinking.
I'd love to know more about this now. Dammit being Friday!!

The graphics for that last guy reminds me of the Twilit in Twilight Princess. Or maybe more like the Ing in Prime 2. Hard to say.

Wait... we are talking about this guy right? While we're at it, he reminds me of a Goomba, an Octorok and a prawn sandwich. It's an all-new character - an SSB antagonist that isn't a giant hand. It's not from another game. It is threatening the world of Smash! Isn't that enough for anyone except me? If anything, it looks like it could be from the Kirby series - but: A) It isn't, and B) That's because Sakurai designed them both.

You know, if Meta Knight does turn out to be one of the bad guys, and that battery-headed mutant Eggplant Man is an entirely new characters, then maybe Sakurai's been reading my game ideas, because it looks like the story could quite possibly be based on both Kirby Super Star and involve a bunch of new enemies. Freaky.

It...confounds me.
By this world, do they mean this stage, or the entire smash bro world.

I agree with Fry, it looks like nothing more than an original antagonist to the SSB series. Which is awesome! Master Hand was alright, but having an antagonist with a face--with something I can actively associate with all the troubles in the world of Smashing, it makes things that much more incredible.
Although his design does remind me sorta like a Heartless (round, black head with beady, glowing eyes--all he needs is the jagged mouth), I don't have cause to believe he's from any other franchise.
ALso, I'm appreciating the sportsmanlike handshake from Kirby and Mario; that's a pretty awesome touch right there.

Damnit Sakurai, you maniac--THIS IS AWESOME!! ^____^ Miyamoto clearly didn't get his say this time around My guess is that this is what became of Adventure mode. It has a plot now, and your character is trying to stop this weird... purple dude from destroying the world. If not that, the purple guy's a minion. And just a few thoughts, debunking theories and what not: -Purple guy's red circle is just that: a red circle. It's a design on his uniform; it has nothing to do with Pacman or anything. -He's standing in the Stadium -His color scheme for his head at least matches the Famicom (red and white mouthy thing, gold hat, red antenna) -The trophies are made of gold and silver now? Nice -The Halberd doesn't necessarily have to have Meta Knight. BUT, the fact that MK has not been revealed yet does sort of imply he has a bigger role... -What happens if you do play as Meta Knight? -Or, for that matter, anybody? Monday can't come soon enough.. EDIT: Two more things --I can see Bowser --The trailer was right AGAIN!

The robot guy is probably a judge. It says "when someone or something breaks these rules, they will pay a terrible price." This guy probably will come in and destroy you if you break the rules...I don't know. We just need to wait...
We'll probably look back on this in the future after beating the game and say "why would we say stupid things like this?"

I'd love to know more about this now. Dammit being Friday!! You know Monday's update now is going to be like "You must defend" or something like that. to the right and left of this mysterious new guy (henceforth "Smashpotato") You can see other spots of those weird purple dots where more Smashpotatos appear to be forming.
