This looks pretty interesting. I like the picture where Mario and Kirby shake hands (in Kirby's case the end of his arm). Maybe it suggests a co-op mode? That character in the bottom picture. I know he can't be but he reminds me of the main little blue bird (I think he is one) character from that game Kuru Kuru Kururin for the GBA. You mean Kururin?

I must say that the mouth looking thing isn't a mouth but probobly a colar. Like a large colar on a shirt.

Yeah, that was the character I was thinking of. Thanks parrothead.

Yeah, on second look it definitely came off as a collar. I think he's wearing some funky gas or astronaut suit

This guy reminds me of a cross between the Sandbag in Melee and Duck Dodgers.

(New user's first post) I don't know what to think about all the "Clouds look alikes" but I saw an animation in another forum that might allow more doubts: img266.imageshack.us/img266/3898/omisscloudsgifxu0.gifIt makes a little bit of sense if you think about it, who else than the villains would break he rules?

Hmm...
I dunno. While Bowser's confirmed and Ganondorf and Master Hand are kind of a given, we have no proof either way that Ridley will be playable other than the Ridley Fight music we saw a few weeks back. Then there's the seperate matter of Mewtwo, now that his biggest rival in Deoxys is a PokéBall summon...
As much as I'd like to believe otherwise, I don't know if this "cloud sighting" thing holds much water. (Ba dum-pish.)

Especially as that cloud on the right looks more like Charizard Still... that animation is moderately more convincing than a simple glance.

True. And Ridley/Charizard does stand out pretty well, but the Ganondorf-cloud doesn't have me convinced yet, either. That one feels like too much of a stretch--the cloud formation doesn't really look like him until that image is placed over it.

There's...really not a whole lot to look into here. All you've done is point out the obvious.

That animation finally laid to rest what the hell that middle and leftmost cloud were trying to be. Hmm... I can buy it, but I'm, like Tei said, doubting Ridley's definite inclusion. And that Ganon one is iffy...
And what the hell happened to Mewtwo? And why isn't Meta Knight a cloud?
I had a thought recently...
Maybe these rule breakers are the third party characters?

There clouds. I saw a Goomba in one the other day. And that was in real Life.

If those clouds are supposed to be faces, then there could be room for more. The interpretation of the second cloud from right to left doesn't convince me. Overall, - They could be generic evil faces (not too naive to think).
- In the least-disappointing case for the ones that are believing this, the mechanics for the Halberd stage will probably consist in showing intentional faces.
I hope SSBB contains FMVs that show the unlockable characters once we've unlocked them. Or they should do something like the intro sequence in N64 SSB, where silhouettes of the 4 unlockable characters were unveiled once you unlocked each of them.
